Magnolia at the Modern: What's Love Got to Do With It?
How do you find lasting love in today's world? For documentary-maker and dating app addict Zoe (Lily James), swiping right has only delivered an endless stream of Mr. Wrongs, to her eccentric mother Cath's (Emma Thompson) dismay. For Zoe's childhood friend and neighbor Kaz (Shazad Latif), the answer is to follow his parents' example and opt for an arranged (or "assisted") marriage to a bright and beautiful bride from Pakistan. As Zoe films his hopeful journey from London to Lahore to marry a stranger, chosen by his parents, she begins to wonder if she might have something to learn from a profoundly different approach. The film will screen six times through Sunday at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth.
Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra presents "Elgar's Enigma Variations: Strauss, Saint-Säens, and Elgar"
Music Director Laureate Miguel Harth-Bedoya returns to lead the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra in a memorable evening. The concert will feature Elgar’s Enigma Variations and Strauss' rapturous Tod und Verklärung ("Death and Transfiguration"). Cellist Sterling Elliot, winner of the 2019 National Sphinx Competition, also makes his debut with the orchestra in Saint-Säens' fiery Cello Concerto No. 1. There will be three performances through Sunday at Bass Performance Hall.
Theatre Arlington presents On Golden Pond
On Golden Pond is the love story of Ethel and Norman Thayer, who are returning to their summer home on Golden Pond for the 48th year. The boy quickly becomes the “grandchild” the elderly couple have longed for. The production runs May 5-21 at Theatre Arlington.

Ed Sheeran in concert
For a global superstar, Ed Sheeran has a very unassuming - some might even say nerdy - look with his messy red hair and glasses. Heck, he's even named all of his albums after different math symbols, including the new - (aka Subtract), which will be released on May 5. But he's struck a chord with fans around the world, which is why he can easily fill a venue like AT&T Stadium in Arlington, where he'll play on Saturday. He will be accompanied by special guests Khalid and Dylan.
Lee Brice in concert
Before Lee Brice started putting out No. 1 albums like 2014's I Don't Dance, he made his name writing hit songs for other stars like Jason Aldean, Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, and Blake Shelton. He'l play at Billy Bob's Texas.
