Big Guys Bodega is a new sandwich take-out in Euless, dishing out halal deli eats at 1001 E. Harwood Rd. #11, in the Bear Creek Crossing shopping center, where it opened in early May. Big Guys Bodega comes from owners Hanif Islam and Saad Sheikh. It's next door to another concept from the same owners called Big Guys Chicken and Rice, which has locations in Deep Ellum and Euless. Big Guys' menu features 10 hot subs and seven cold subs on either a seven-inch or foot-long bread including turkey pesto, chicken masala, and Philly cheesesteak with sliced ribeye beef on a brioche hoagie.
Fire Pot, a Korean BBQ and hot pot restaurant, opened in Fort Worth at 5760 SW. Loop 820 on June 13. The restaurant offers all-you-can-eat grilled and hot pot dishes that customers cook themselves at the table, plus sushi. They're open for lunch and dinner, and diners can have all three dining experiences for an extra $5 charge in addition to the lunch or dinner price starting at $22. Fire Pot offers four kinds of broth for hot pot including original, mala spicy, mushroom, and tomato.
Mo’ Bettahs Hawaiian Style Food, the Utah-based restaurant chain centered on the Hawaiian plate lunch — featuring a protein such as teriyaki beef, chicken katsu, or kalua pork, plus rice and macaroni salad — is opening a location in Hurst at 1858 Precinct Line Rd. on June 20. This marks Mo’ Bettahs' fourth location in the FW area following north Fort Worth, Mansfield, and Burleson, and the 10th in Texas.
Soho Wine Bar, an Italian restaurant and wine bar, is opening in Keller this summer in the former FNG Eats space at 201 Town Center #1101. It'll be an upscale spot rooted in the traditions of Italian cuisine from hospitality veterans Mentor Kurari and Argjent Sela, who are relocating to the area from New York.
Son of a Baker Pizzeria, the artisan pizza concept that opened inside the Archibald bar in downtown Fort Worth in 2024, has expanded with a second outlet at the new River's Cocktail & Wine Bar, 4850 White Settlement Rd. (between Churchill & Roberts Cut Off Rd). Pizzas include Margherita with vodka sauce, smoked mozzarella, and basil, and the Miso Shroomy with miso-duxelle, mushrooms, goat cheese, mozzarella, caramelized onions, arugula, and parmigiano reggiano. Son of a Baker was a nominee for Best New Restaurant in CultureMap's 2025 Tastemaker Awards.
Pax & Beneficia Coffee has opened a location in the Waterside area at 5924 Convair Dr. #400, situated alongside the Trinity River and Trinity Trails. This is the sixth location for the growing chain known for its Turkish coffee and gourmet food, joining Fort Worth, Grapevine, Las Colinas, Plano, and Dallas' Victory Park.
The Sour Boule the Fort Worth bread bakery and cafe at 3801 Southwest Blvd. has introduced new specials available Thursday-Sunday after 4 pm that include The Boule Royalty burger on a sourdough hamburger bun, with white cheddar, truffle aioli, tomato jam, arugula, bacon, caramelized onions, and pickled cucumbers & onions; oven-roasted carrots with honey and thyme; sourdough pasta in red meat sauce with rosemary garlic sourdough; and beet salad with goat cheese, candied pecans, tomatoes, red onions, and honey-balsamic vinaigrette.
MilkShake Factory, the Grapevine dessert shop, has added the buzzy Dubai-style chocolate bar with pistachio crème and toasted kataifi wrapped in milk chocolate for $6. They have also added a limited-time strawberry pretzel pie shake withstrawberries, salty pretzels, and frosting, topped with whipped cream and a strawberry for $10, available through July 27.
Eddie V's has a new special pairing a lobster roll and wine for $38, with choice from Brewer-Clifton Chardonnay, Whispering Angel Rosé, or Brewer-Clifton Pinot Noir. Available at both Plano and Fort Worth locations until July 25.
First Watch has a new summer brunch with dishes like blueberry lemon cornbread, elote breakfast burrito, shrimp & grits, and strawberry tres leches French toast topped with spiced gingerbread cookie crumbles. The new summer drink is Watermelon Wake-Up with watermelon, pineapple, lime and mint, which can be spiked with New Amsterdam Vodka. Available through August 11.
Fish City Grill introduced a handhelds menu of tacos and sandwiches. Items include fishwich with lightly beer-battered cod, honey chipotle shrimp tacos, lobster & shrimp grilled cheese, shrimp po’boy, and double smash bacon cheeseburger. Handhelds start at $14.
Dog Haus, the hot dog restaurant and biergarten, has teamed up with chef Josh Elkin for an Aloha Soopah Slider featuring fried spam, tater tots, chili crunch, furikake, scrambled eggs and maple sriracha on grilled King's Hawaiian rolls. Available for $8 through July 21.
Einstein Bros. Bagels, the fast-casual bagel chain is launching morning mocktails featuring fruity options like Bros. Bay Breeze with cranberry, lemonade & passion fruit; Passion Fruit Sunrise with OJ, lemonade & passion fruit; and an Energy Spritz made with Monster Energy. On launch day, Einstein Bros. will offer an all-day happy hour special with a bagel & shmear combo and mocktail for $6. Drinks will be available starting June 18.
Corner Bakery, the Dallas-based restaurant chain, is launching a lower price tag for some of its menu items. Some sandwiches including the ham and Swiss, bacon & egg, and chicken salad sandwich are now available for $4 and $5. The sandwiches are typically priced $8-$10.
Taco Bell has debuted crispy chicken strips, available for a limited time. They come solo, in tacos, or in a burrito. The chain keeps dabbling in chicken: They launched chicken nuggets with a tortilla chip breading in 2024, then brought them back again in 2025. The chicken strips are marinated in jalapeño buttermilk and coated with tortilla chip breadcrumbs and can be ordered with choice of spicy ranchero or avocado ranch. The taco features one chicken strip, purple cabbage, lettuce, pico de gallo, and cheddar on a tortilla. The burrito has all the same ingredients, but two chicken strips instead of one. Items are $3-$6.
Chipotle is launching adobo ranch, the chain's first new dip in five years since queso blanco. the sauce features adobo pepper, sour cream and a blend of herbs and spices. Available starting June 17.
7-Eleven, Inc. has a new Spicy Hot Link Sausage featuring a slow-smoked, paprika-packed sausage. They've also launched a summer Craveables Value Menu with 5 bone-in wings for $5 and a glazed doughnut for $1.
