Best Fort Worth restaurants for Thanksgiving 2020 dining-in or to-go
The coronavirus may have us down, but it's not going to interfere with the most important eating holiday of the year: Thanksgiving. On November 26, some Fort Worth restaurants are hosting feasts for dining-in, some are offering meals to go, and some are doing both.
Here's our list of restaurants doing Thanksgiving spreads, with all the important and accurate up-to-date details which we'll continue to update until the day arrives:
B&B Butchers & Restaurant
The Shops at Clearfork restaurant will be open on Thanksgiving Day, 10 am-9 pm, serving a multicourse prix-fixe menu ($78 per adult, $35 per child) along with the regular dinner menu. Reservations are required, 817-737-5212, or via OpenTable. Takeout offerings will include a main course of turkey or prime rib, traditional sides that serve 4-8, and pumpkin, pecan, or able crumble pie — check the website for specific pricing. Orders can be placed starting November 1 for pickup November 24-26 at 4 pm; 48-hour notice required.
Bacchus Kitchen + Bar
The restaurant inside Grapevine's new Hotel Vin will be open 7 am-8 pm, first serving brunch and then a family-style Thanksgiving dinner (menu and reservation details here); $75 per adult, $30 per child, children 5 and under free. They're also doing Thanksgiving to-go for four, for $200: Fall Farmers Salad, Mushroom Thyme Soup, Carved Cider Brinded Half-Turkey, served with Gravy, Jalapeño Corn Bread Stuffing, Green Bean & Wild Mushroom Casserole, Roasted Garlic & Crème Fraiche Whipped Potatoes, Cranberry Apple Sauce, and Classic Pumpkin Pie. Order online by November 20, and schedule pickup between 4-8 pm November 25 or 11 am-3 pm Thanksgiving Day.
Blue Mesa Grill
Special brunch features turkey with cranberry-jalapeno relish, red chile glazed ham, salmon with fruit salsa, omelets, huevos rancheros, migas, Belgian waffles, tacos with ground beef-chorizo, chicken verde, or mushroom rajas, fruit and Caesar salad, pies, banana pudding, coffee, mimosas. Plexi partitions have been installed; omelets and other signature items are served instead of buffet following COVID protocols. 10 am-4 pm. $28, or $7 for children 6-11. Bonnell's
Chef Jon Bonnell's Southwest Fort Worth restaurant is taking online orders until Wednesday, November 18 for pickup by 6 pm Wednesday, November 25. Menu offerings include "The Turkey Deal" with choice of Creole Smoked or Deep Fried Turkey, two medium sides (Southwestern Cornbread Stuffing, Green Chile Cheese Grits, Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Green Bean Casserole, or Sweet Potato Casserole), one dessert (Pumpkin Cheesecake, Caramel-Pecan Cheesecake, or Flourless Chocolate Cake), 12 dinner rolls, and a quart of Perfect Turkey Gravy ($275); or "The Leftover Deal," which includes the same options as the Turkey Deal, but double the sides, rolls, and gravy ($375). Buca di Beppo
Italian restaurant in Southlake will open at 11 am for dining-in with Thanksgiving spread featuring sliced white-meat turkey, gravy, garlic mashed potatoes, Italian sausage stuffing, green beans, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie. Or get your dinner to-go by ordering online, with pickup available from November 16-26. Small serves three and is $69; large serves six and is $138. Italian classics are also available.
Capital Grille
Downtown steakhouse is offering "Thanksgiving sides at home," with brioche stuffing, gravy, French green beans with Marcona almonds, cranberry-pear chutney, mashed potatoes, pecan-crusted sweet potatoes, and rolls. Serves 4-6. $125. Order online. Pickup Tuesday November 24 or Wednesday November 25.
Cat City Grill
The Magnolia Avenue grill has a Thanksgiving pack for 4 that includes: sliced turkey breast, potatoes au gratin, green beans, stuffing and gravy, cranberry sauce, deviled eggs, rolls, and choice of cherry, pecan, or sweet potato pie ($125). Add-ons include Hatch green chile mac and cheese ($16), additional turkey servings ($20), a fall floral arrangement ($25), and bottles of wine ($15-$45). The Classic at Roanoke
Thanksgiving dinner to-go includes herb-roasted turkey, Classic dressing, green beans, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, pan gravy, jalapeño cranberry sauce, country white rolls, and choice of pecan or pumpkin pie for $30 per person. Add country ham for an additional $5. Call 817-430-8185 or order online. Orders must be placed by Saturday, November 21 for pickup for pick up on Wednesday, November 25. Dining room is closed on Thanksgiving Day.
Chef Point
The restaurant will be open for dine-in, 10 am-7 pm, at both the Watauga and Colleyville locations (reservations recommended). They're doing an "early bird special" for to-go orders: Order your turkey before November 8 and get a $10 gift card for every $100 spent on holiday orders. A la carte entrees include oven-roasted or smoked Cajun turkey ($94-$104), prime rib ($170), baked ham ($70), or whole duck ($55). Sides include stuffing, mac and cheese (regular or lobster), mashed potatoes, gravy, and what nots ($10-$110). Apple pie or bread pudding for dessert ($8-$184). Cooper's Old Time Pit Bar-B-Que
The Stockyards-area barbecue restaurant is doing a whole turkey breast (feeds 6-8, $50); half-pans of side dishes (mac and cheese, jalapeno-bacon mac and cheese, green beans, potato salad, or cole slaw, $30); whole cobblers (apple, blackberry, peach, or pecan, $32-$38); and a turkey + sides combo ($62). Cru Wine Bar
Dine in with 3-course meal or new Thanksgiving to go packages with Butternut Squash Bisque, Caesar Salad, Turkey Breast, and Pumpkin Cheesecake or Gala Apple & Pecan Bread Pudding. $80 for two or $150 for four.
Cut & Bourbon
The restaurant inside the Live by Loews – Arlington will be open 10 am-8 pm on Thanksgiving Day, offering a pre-fixe selection of classics and holiday-inspired creations. Menu highlights include Celery Root & Apple Bisque with thyme, oil, pancetta, and chili dust; Whole Roasted Turkey with potato puree, green beans, and glazed carrots; Pork Osso Bucco with pumpkin risotto, Romanesco, sweet peppers, Cipollini onions, and Calabrian chili; Mini Pumpkin Pie, and more. Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse
Downtown fine-dining restaurant is offering three course meal for dining in with choice of butternut squash soup or harvest salad, turkey breast, mashed sweet potatoes and château potatoes, green beans, pan gravy, cranberry relish, and choice of pumpkin cheesecake or pecan pie for dessert. $49. Del Frisco's Grille
Sundance Square restaurant will be open for dining in from 11 am-7 pm with three-course meal featuring butternut squash bisque, turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, cranberry relish, green beans, apple-sage stuffing, and pumpkin cheesecake for $39, or $15 for 10 and under. Family Meal Packs To-Go are available for 2-4 ($98) or 4-6 ($195) with butternut squash bisque, salad, turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans, brown gravy, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin cheesecake. Dickey's
Ready-to-eat Holiday Big Yellow Box comes with sliced turkey breast, cornbread dressing, gravy, baked potato casserole, green beans with bacon, and a dozen rolls. Feeds 8-12 people. Heat-and-eat options include the Complete Feast with choice of smoked turkey, prime rib, Cajun-fried turkey, or spiral ham, cornbread dressing, gravy, baked potato casserole, green beans with bacon, and rolls. Eatzi's Market & Bakery
The gourmet takeaway spot, with locations in Fort Worth and Grapevine, has many Thanksgiving offerings to be ordered online. They include entrees of Rosewood Ranch Smoked Wagyu Prime Rib Roast (serves 6-8, $250), Cranberry Chipotle Glazed or Oven Roasted Turkey Breast (serves 3-4, $26-$27), Orange Bourbon Vanilla Glazed Ham (serves 3-4, $29), or, for the drumstick fans, a Chipotle Bacon Glazed Smoked Turkey Leg (serves 2, $15). Sides, stuffings, and sauces ($10-$20) include Bacon Balsamic Brussels Sprouts, Smashed Sweet Potatoes, Cauliflower Gruyere Gratin, and more. Ellerbe Fine Foods
While they won't be open for dining on Thanksgiving, CultureMap's 2020 Restaurant of the Year is offering an "Everything-but-the-Bird Thanksgiving Menu" to-go, which is $95 and serves 4-6 people. The menu includes Louisiana Cornbread Dressing with Andouille Sausage, Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Sage Butter and Torn Croutons, Traditional Green Bean Casserole with Homemade Crispy Onions, Candied Sweet Potatoes with Spiced Pumpkin Seeds, Creamy Rosemary and Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Mixed Mushroom Gravy with Green Onions, and Fresh Cranberry & Citrus Sauce. Add a 9-inch Classic Pumpkin Pie with Texas Pecan & Graham Cracker Crust ($24), Maw Maw’s Bread Pudding with Whiskey Sauce ($7 each), or Baguettes ($4 each). Fireside Pies
Holiday menu includes turkey breast or pork shoulder (or both), blue corn-chorizo stuffing, whipped sweet potatoes, piselli salad with bacon and fontina, elotes, cranberry mojo, garlic parmesan bread, apple-cream cheese flatbread pie, or pumpkin-pecan pie. $195, serves 4-6. Garden Grille Hurst
Restaurant at the Hilton Garden Inn Hurst has dinner for two, to include turkey, stuffing, candied yams, green bean casserole, corn, mashed potatoes, gravy, rolls, cranberry sauce, iced tea, and pumpkin or pecan pie. November 25, 26, and 27 from 2-9 pm. $35 per couple, $10 for each additional person, maximum of eight. Seating is limited, reserve by November 23. The Healthy Hippie Cafe
Watauga's vegan-friendly cafe is doing a multicourse Holiday Meal for $30 per person: Cheese Puff Pastry, Tri Squash Soup, Mixed Green Salad with Apple Pecan Dressing, Sage Lentil and Walnut Loaf with Mushroom Gravy, and Pumpkin Pie. Choose between Sourdough Spinach Stuffing for a starch side and Green Bean Casserole or Asparagus with Lemon Dill Sauce for a green side. Order online for pickup Tuesday, November 24 or Wednesday, November 25.
Heim Barbecue
The craft barbecue spot is offering full Thanksgiving packages, as well as a sides package and some a la carte items. The full meal (feeds 10-12, $250) includes a 13-pound whole turkey; 1 quart smoked turkey gravy; half-pans of mashed potatoes, cornbread dressing, harvester green beans, and sweet potato casserole; and pumpkin or pecan pie. The sides-only packages includes all of the half-pans above (feeds 10-12, $150). A la carte items include spiral-sliced glazed ham ($100), whole turkey ($80), whole prime brisket ($160), bacon burnt ends ($28 per pound), half-pan of green chile mac and cheese ($45), quart of gravy ($16), and whole pie ($30). Lucile's A Stateside Bistro
The restaurant on the bricks of Camp Bowie is open 11 am-4 pm Thanksgiving Day, serving a menu that includes: lobster bisque or mixed greens salad; choice of roasted turkey with apple sausage dressing and gravy, plus trimmings ($27.95), wood-roasted cedar planked salmon, plus trimmings ($31.95), prime rib of beef, plus trimmings ($33.93), or live Maine lobster, plus trimmings ($36.95); and pumpkin pie for dessert. Kids' traditional turkey dinner available for $11.95. There's also a Thanksgiving to-go pack that serves 4 and includes roasted turkey with gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, candied yams, cranberry sauces, and four slices of pumpkin pie ($150). The Fort Worth bakery's $50 toilet paper-shaped cakes became an instant sensation early in the pandemic. Now Loft22 is offering them as a unique addition to the 2020 Thanksgiving table. Magdalena's
A Thanksgiving dinner package comes in two sizes: a larger one that feeds 5-6 people ($180) and smaller one that feeds 2-3 ($80). Menu includes: Fall Salad, Cranberries with Thyme Vinaigrette, Turkey Enchiladas, Stuffed Roasted Texas Quail, Hazelnut and Chicken Tamales, Pork Carnitas and Guajillo Tamales, Wild Rice Pilaf, Bourbon Corn with Queso Fresco, Sweet Potatoes with Piloncillo and Housemade Marshmallows, House made Rolls with Bacon Fat Whipped Butter, Fluffiest Banana Pudding with Chess Cookies, and 2 quarts of Sangria. Mercury Chophouse
Arlington restaurant has a special menu featuring two Thanksgiving offerings: turkey dinner with cornbread dressing, whipped potatoes, cranberry sauce, and gravy for $38; or prime rib with whipped potaoes, asparagus, and horseradish cream, for $49. Menu also includes crab cake, filet mignon flatbread, wedge and Caesar salads, filet mignon and NY strip, chicken cordon bleu, and other signature dishes. 10:30 am-3 pm. Meyer & Sage
The chef-driven grab-and-go spot has family-style, specialty, and by-the-quart Thanksgiving offerings. Family-style dishes ($40) that serve 4 people include: Classic Southern Cornbread Dressing; Browned Butter Mashed Potatoes; Butter Pecan Sweet Potato Gratin, Green Bean & Artichoke Casserole, and more. A Thanksgiving Grazing and Charcuterie Board runs $175-$325. Pick up Roasted Apple and Butternut Squash Soup ($12), Cranberry Citrus Compote ($24), Green Chile Pimiento Cheese ($20) and more by the quart. Neighbor's House Grocery
The locally owned downtown market is taking orders by 5 pm Wednesday, November 18 for pickup by 5 pm Wednesday, November 25. Entree options include organic roasted turkey ($15 per pound, white meat; $7 per pound, dark meat; $13 per pound, mixed) or honey roasted ham with praline glaze ($12 per pound). Sides and extras serve 4 and include green bean and sweet potato casseroles ($20), mashed potatoes ($20), cornbread dressing ($20), roasted beets and goat cheese with lavender honey drizzle ($20), sausage queso with tortilla chips ($20), and more. Perry's Steakhouse
Grapevine restaurant is offering special menu with choice of butternut squash soup or Honeycrisp apple salad with dried cherries, walnuts, and maple syrup vinaigrette, plus smoked turkey breast with gravy, mashed potatoes, green bean Almondine, sausage sage dressing, cranberry relish, and bread, for $45. Pinstripes

Reata Restaurant
The Sundance Square restaurant is offering Thanksgiving take-and-bake options that serve eight and include: cranberry chutney ($10), sweet potato casserole ($35), roasted mushrooms ($21), bourbon creamed corn ($24), jalapeno and bacon mac and cheese ($30), and bacon-wrapped green bean bundles (serves 5 or 10, $12-$24). Silver Fox
University Drive steakhouse will be open 12-6 pm with a special menu featuring choice of III Forks salad with apples, blue cheese, and toasted pecans, wedge salad, or butternut squash soup; choice of turkey with cornbead dressing, whipped potatoes, candied yams, and sugarsnap peas, or tenderloin with whipped potato, creamed corn, and sugarsnap peas, or salmon with molasses bourbon btter, fingerling potatoes, and broccoli. Dessert options include pumpkin pie, bourbon pecan pie, or cheesecake with raspberry sauce. $54, available for dine-in or curbside pickup, pre-order by November 23.
Snooze, an A.M. Eatery
The popular brunch chain is offering Thanksgiving Meal Kits, available for pick-up at all Snooze locations through the long Thanksgiving weekend. Choose from two options: Thanksgiving Egg Casserole Kit ($55) and Pumpkin Brioche French Toast Bake Kit ($50). Both kits come with a main dish, plus Fresh Fruit Salad; Mixed Greens Salad with tomatoes, parmesan, spiced pepitas, and a Dijon citronette; and a pack of Snooze Tenderbelly Bacon. A la carte dishes are also available. Call in orders between November 16 and 27, for pickup by November 28. All orders must be placed by close of the previous business day before for next-day pickup after 12 pm, Tuesday-Saturday only. Snooze will be closed on Thanksgiving Day for both in-house dining and to-go pickups.
Toro Toro Latin Steakhouse
Worthington Renaissance is hosting a dine-in Thanksgiving feast with salad, ancho-glazed turkey breast, poblano gravy, parmesan mashed potatoes, glazed sweet potatoes with killer pecans, cornbread stuffing, green beans with pancetta and caramelized onion, spice roasted rainbow carrots, white cheddar mac & cheese, cranberry citrus sauce, Parker House rolls, and pumpkin cheesecake, for $65. The Southern Brasserie and Biscuit Company offers a Thanksgiving to-go menu that includes "Chef Kyle's" Turkey and Andouille Gumbo for 4 ($30), 12-14 pound Herb Roasted Whole Turkey ($85), Brown Sugar Pecan Sweet Potato Casserole ($30-$60), Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes ($25-$45), Shaved Brussels with Shallots and Currants ($35-$60), Sautéed Green Beans with Caramelized Onions ($35-$60), Famous Buttermilk Biscuit Bacon Dressing ($30-$55), and 1 dozen Buttermilk Biscuits and Honey Butter ($20). The West 7th barbecue joint is doing three different packages for three different size crowds. Package 1 feeds 6-8 ($150); Package 2 feeds 12-15 ($195); and Package 3 feeds 20-24 ($295). Expect oven-roasted whole turkey or smoked turkey breast with gravy, cornbread dressing, cranberry sauce, rolls, and choice of sides (whipped potatoes, mac n cheese, green beans almandine, sauteed vegetables, or glazed carrots).
