Learn about France’s iconic wine regions of Bordeaux, Sancerre, Burgundy, Loire Valley and more during this afternoon wine tasting inside the Old Hickory Steakhouse at the Grapevine hotel and resort. There’ll be cheeses and charcuterie for pairing. The event is $65 per person and begins at 2 pm.
Drinksgiving at El Chingon
The high-energy West 7th district Mexican restaurant, bar, and nightclub will celebrate one of the busiest drinking nights of the year with specials well-suited for a big time. Visit for 128-ounce Dos Equis towers ($50) or a signature cocktail tower ($150). Try the sweet Paleta tower, made with coconut rum, watermelon juice, and simple syrup, or the green tea tower made with whiskey, peach Schnapps, lemonade, and Sprite. All towers serve a minimum of four and are available before 8 pm.

DryceGiving at Hotel Dryce
The new boutique hotel near Dickies Arena hosts its official opening party on Thanksgiving night. The Lobby Bar opens at 7 pm with POPS' Famous Brand Whisky drink specials, and burgers from GUSTOS burgers + stuff will hit the grill at 8 pm. The party will include music provided by DJ Sober, merchandise sales for charity, fire pits, and more. It's free to attend.

Black Friday Brunch at City Works
Fuel up for Black Friday shopping with City Works’ rock n’ roll-themed brunch offerings. Cleverly named items include the Johnny Hash made with pulled pork, peppers, and butternut squash, and the Chimi Hendrix breakfast chimichanga. Wash it all down with a mimosa flight or a Black Friday special tapping of Goose Island’s Beer Company’s Bourbon County Stout lineup. Brunch begins at 10 am.

Leave on the Thanksgiving stretchy pants and head to the Crockett Row restaurant for a Black Friday edition of their popular weekend brunch. Menu highlights include Guinness-braised short rib has, crab cake Benedict, and ahi tuna avocado toast. Brunch will run nearly all day, from 11 am to 4 pm.

Two birds, one stone. Get some holiday shopping done while Black Friday brunching at the South Main Street gastropub. Dubbed the Fort Worth brewery’s “post-Turkey Day rager,” the annual tradition brings beer lovers together for an all-day indoor-outdoor holiday weekend party. It will include food trucks, craft vendors, and live music. Tickets are $20 and come with a souvenir pint glass and four pours. The family-friendly event will run from 12 to 5 pm.

Wine Tasting & Dinner at Loveria Caffe
The Colleyville Italian restaurant will present a guided four-course dinner that comes with a tasting of 10 Italian wines. The menu includes lobster ravioli, roasted lamb ribs, and pumpkin carrot cake. Wines range from prosecco to a 2009 Brunello di Montalcino. Dinner is $110 per person, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit both GRACE Grapevine and Me Squared Cancer Foundation.
