New restaurant park with burgers and tacos to debut in Benbrook

Enchiladas galore at Tacos & Avocados.
Burgers and tacos are coming to Benbrook via a new restaurant park that'll feature two buzzy concepts opening side-by-side. The restaurants are Jakes Burgers, the buzzy North Texas burger chain; and Tacos & Avocados, an up-and-coming Mexican concept, opening at 9300 Benbrook Dr., at the southwest corner of Westpark Drive.
According to a release, they'll open in spring 2026.
Both restaurants are part of Mad Concepts Group, the Addison-based hospitality company founded in 2015. They're opening this park to create a family-friendly destination for gathering, dining, and connection.
The restaurant park will feature two full-service restaurants, each approximately 4,000 to 5,000 square feet, complete with full bars and patio seating.
A shared 1.5-acre backyard will anchor the site, offering an outdoor space for dining, play, and year-round community use. Designed as a modern neighborhood hub, the project blends quality food with an energetic, approachable atmosphere.

Mad Concepts Group has a long-standing commitment to community involvement, regularly supporting local schools, nonprofits, and organizations through fundraising and sponsorship initiatives.
In a statement, Mad Concepts Group co-founder Courtney Lindley says, “this project is about creating a place where the community can come together, whether that’s over a meal, in the backyard, or during everyday moments that matter.”
Jakes
Founded in Dallas in 1985, Jakes Burgers and Beer is known for double-patty burgers, hand-cut fries, and ice-cold beer. The chain currently has 13 locations, including Aledo, Flower Mound, Frisco, Grand Prairie, Grapevine, Mansfield, and Fort Worth's Sundance Square.
Tacos & Avocados
Tacos & Avocados is a new chef-driven concept with tacos, shareable plates, salsas, and a full bar. The menu includes fajitas, enchiladas, queso, guacamole, chorizo nachos, street-style corn, and tortilla soup.
Here's an interesting dish: Cucumber Avocado Crudo — a vegan take on a classic fish dish featuring marinated cucumber, avocado, pineapple, jicama, shaved red onion, radish, cilantro, salsa macha, and cilantro lime vinaigrette, served with tortilla chips. Also their "birriadilla" — a flour tortilla stuffed with birria beef and chihuahua cheese, served with consommé for dipping.
They also have an entire assortment of frozen margaritas in assorted flavors, including Blackberry, Prickly Pear, Tamarind, Mango, Strawberry, and Kiwi.
They launched the concept with a first location in downtown Carrollton, which opened in 2024. Benbrook will be their second.

Mad Concepts Group has big plans for 2026 and 2027, including expanding Tacos & Avocados into new markets, growing Jakes' presence in DFW, & launching other new concepts such as Split Rail Texas Grill, their modern take on a steakhouse; Split Rail Market, offering butchered meats, prepared food, and unique local products; Iglesia de Comal, elevated Latin cuisine in an old church; and Rivalry, a high-energy gaming complex.
