Independence Day arrives this week, but one area bar is ready to celebrate Christmas with a month-long holiday pop-up. Also on the list: a brewery peach fest, Italian cooking class, and a two-day Independence Day-inspired brunch. Save room for free hot dogs on July 4th.

Christmas in July at Harvest Hall
European-inspired food hall connected to Hotel Vin will in Grapevine launch its second annual Christmas in July pop-up at the Holly Jolly Bar. Taking place inside Third Rail, the hall’s live entertainment venue, the pop-up will feature Christmas-inspired cocktails, including the Peppermint Bark Martini and Santa on the Beach. The pop-up will run through July 31.
Thursday, July 4
Free Hot Dogs at Curly’s Frozen Custard
In conjunction with the world-famous Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog competition on Coney Island held every July 4, Curly’s will give customers a free Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog all day. Also don’t miss the new custard flavor of the month, the fan-favorite Parker County Peach. Hours are 11 am–10 pm.
Weekender Brunch at Chef Point Restaurant & Bar
The Colleyville dining destination will host its popular Weekender Brunch two extra days this week, July 4-5. Go for loaded bloody marys, fried green tomatoes, chicken & waffles, and festive Bomb Pop Margaritas. Brunch will be served from 11 am–2 pm.
July 4th at Bowie House
The new West Fort Worth Auberge Resorts Collection hotel invites the public to visit for several Independence Day happenings. There’ll be garden games at the on-site restaurant Bricks and Horses all day, or enjoy special celebratory cocktails at Whinny’s, the new poolside restaurant. After sunset guests can gather at the Pool Terrace for celebratory sparklers. All events are open to non-hotel guests.

Peach Fest at Martin House Brewing Company
July means it’s peach season and Martin House Brewing Company is ready to celebrate. Visit for peach vendors, peach beers, and even a peach cobbler eating contest. Wristbands at the door are $20, good for a souvenir pint glass and four pours. The event will run from 12–5 pm.
Sunday, July 7
Italian Specialty Cooking Class at Acquario Italian Seafood
Keller’s newest Italian
destination will host a hands-on cooking class featuring some of executive chef Fredi Plaku’s favorite dishes. The class is $115 and begins at 12 pm.
