A new happy hour launch, a rosé tasting, and a steakhouse cooking class combine for tasty times this week. But Dad takes center stage on Sunday for Father’s Day, and a few restaurants are offering scrumptious specials to celebrate. From steak and eggs to prime rib eye tacos and Nutella-stuffed French toast, dishes he’ll love are all on the menu.

Happy Hour Launch at Chama Gaucha
Recently opened in Grapevine, the Brazilian steakhouse has launched weekday happy hour. Offered Monday through Friday from 4:30-6:30 pm, the menu features special pricing on an array of apps, including lobster bisque, Wagyu bruschetta, and seared Ahi tuna. Also, martinis are $10, margaritas are $9, wines by the glass are $8, and select beers are $5. See the menu here. The steakhouse will also be open for all-you-can-eat dining on Father’s Day.

Rosé All the Way at Wine Thief
The Omni Fort Worth Hotel wine bar invites patrons to drink pink during this rosé wine tasting. Learn from an advanced sommelier while sipping several varietals paired with light bites. The tasting is $45, plus tax and gratuity, and is available anytime between 5-7 pm.
Steakhouse Dinner Class at Indulge
The downtown cooking studio will teach participants how to make a steakhouse worthy dinner at home. Learn how to choose the right cuts, what tools are needed, and how to cook the perfect steak along with sides including truffle-whipped mashed potatoes and honey-glazed carrots. End with lemon berry cheesecake. Class will be led by Nathanael Gassett of Wero Kitchen. The price is $89 and the start time is 6:30 pm.

Father’s Day Brunch at Blue Mesa Grill
Brunch buffet specials will range from carved beef tenderloin and red chile salmon to cheese blue corn enchiladas and made-to-order omelets. The $35 price includes mimosas, coffee, tea, and soft drinks. The price for children 6-11 years old is $10. Reservations are recommended and the brunch will run from 9 am-4 pm.
Dia de Los Padres at Toro Toro
The Latin steakhouse inside the Renaissance Worthington hotel will serve Father’s Day lunch and dinner with two specials: prime ribeye tacos and a specialty cocktail called El Padre. Toro Toro will also serve its regular bottomless brunch menu from 10 am-2 pm. Bonus that complimentary valet is always included.
Father’s Day Brunch at Wicked Butcher
The underground steakhouse inside The Sinclair hotel downtown will serve Father’s Day brunch with a la carte specials. Dishes range from shaved pastrami Benedict and bucatini carbonara to steak and eggs and Nutella-stuffed French toast. Brunch will be served from 11 am-3 pm.
Father’s Day Brunch at Willhoite’s
The longtime downtown Grapevine biker bar and restaurant will host a brunch buffet with all-you-can-eat breakfast and lunch favorites for Dad and family. Menu items will include waffles, made-to-order omelets, fried chicken, and salad bar. Pricing is $20 for adults and $7 for 12 and under. Note that seating is first-come, first-served and the brunch will run from 10 am-2 pm.
