Le Meridien Fort Worth to open downtown hotel in vintage building
A boutique hotel opening in a vintage building is ready for its debut: Le Méridien Fort Worth Downtown, will open on Thursday, August 29, in the former Hotel Texas Annex building at 811 Commerce St.
First announced in late 2023, this 14-story boutique hotel is a partnership between Blueprint Hospitality and Remington Hospitality, bringing Le Méridien’s distinctive European heritage to Fort Worth.
“After nearly two decades of vacancy, we are thrilled to breathe new life into the space with the opening of Le Méridien Fort Worth Downtown," says Blueprint Hospitality CEO Kunal Moody in a release.
Founded in 1968, Remington Hospitality manages 135 hotels in 27 states and Washington, D.C., across 33 brands, including 16 independent and boutique properties.
Le Méridien Fort Worth Downtown boasts 188 guest rooms and suites, featuring mid-century modern design, floor-to-ceiling windows, and scenic views of downtown.
Art will be a big thing, from intricate design touches to curated art pieces to participation in Le Méridien’s trademark "Unlock Art" program, offering complimentary access to Fort Worth art institutions such as the Amon Carter Museum and the Caravan of Dreams Art Studio.
Food options include the hotel's all-day restaurant, Bouvier Brasserie; a rooftop lounge called Annex, serving cocktails and light bites; and Hub on the first floor, serving gelato and sorbet during the day, and cocktails and shareable bites at night.
Other amenities include a fitness center and a rooftop pool on the sixth floor, plus nearly 5,000 square feet of function space, including a ballroom and breakout rooms for events, weddings, and meetings.
Le Méridien Fort Worth will participate in Marriott Bonvoy – the travel program from Marriott International – allowing members to earn and redeem points for their stay at the new hotel, and at other hotels and resorts across Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio of brands.
