Guests can enjoy carefully crafted cocktails made with distillery spirits and enter for raffle prizes while the Hattie Mae Lesley Apprentice Artists and FWOpera chorus members perform a selection of crowd-pleasing arias and duets.
Performing Arts Fort Worth presents An American in Paris
An American in Paris is a Tony Award-winning musical about an American soldier, a mysterious French girl, and an indomitable European city, each yearning for a new beginning in the aftermath of war. The production, playing at Bass Performance Hall through Sunday, brings the magic and romance of Paris into perfect harmony with unforgettable songs from George and Ira Gershwin.
Circle Theatre presents Who Am I This Time? (& Other Conundrums of Love)
Circle Theatre opens its 36th season with Who Am I This Time? (& Other Conundrums of Love) by Aaron Posner. The subject of this play, as we are told at the outset, is love, pure and complicated. Adapted from three Kurt Vonnegut stories, the play sews together a seamless evening of hilarity as seven versatile actors give the audience a genuine glimpse into humankind’s most elusive sentiment. The play runs through March 11.
Improv Arlington presents Tommy Davidson
Tommy Davidson’s exceptional range, from stand-up comedy and acting to versatile music accomplishments, have earned him a reputation as an extraordinary performer. Best known as one of the stars of the hit television show In Living Color, his visibility has allowed him to become a household name known for his innovative talent. He will perform six sets through Sunday at Improv Arlington.

Magnolia at the Modern: Oscar Shorts
The Academy Awards takes place on February 26, and you can get an edge in your Oscar pool by catching a screening of all of the animated and live action short films at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. The nominees range from the light-hearted to the super serious, but all are worth your time, especially if you're a film lover. There are six screenings through Sunday.
Theatre Arlington presents School of Rock
While we wait another year and a half for the Broadway tour to come to town, you can enjoy an all-youth production of School of Rock at Theatre Arlington. Based on the hit movie by Mike White, it follows Dewey Finn, a wannabe rock star who decides to earn a few bucks as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. Finn throws academia aside and creates his own curriculum, complete with guitar riffs, keyboard solos, and jam sessions. The production runs through March 5.
Joe Nichols in concert
Country star Joe Nichols has been crafting hits since his breakout in 2002 with his sophomore album, Man with a Memory. Thanks to songs like "Brokenheartsville," "Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off," and "Gimmie That Girl," he's remained at the top of the genre for nearly the entire 15 years. While we wait for his next album, you can enjoy this retrospective concert at Billy Bob's Texas.

Fort Worth Museum of Science and History presents "Dora and Diego: Let's Explore!"
At "Dora and Diego: Let's Explore!," children and families are invited into the world of Dora the Explorer, her animal-rescuing cousin Diego, and their friends Boots and Baby Jaguar. They can explore Isa's Flowery Garden, help Tico gather nuts, join the Pirate Piggies crew as they set sail, and search for baby animals in the Rainforest Maze. The exhibit is on display at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History through June 4.
PBR Iron Cowboy
The Iron Cowboy is the second PBR Major of the 2017 Built Ford Tough Series, taking place at AT&T Stadium. PBR Majors are the highest profile events on the series, presenting unique formats, increased prize money, and world standings points. The top 40 stars of the PBR try to conquer the rankest bulls in the world, in an effort to make the 8-second buzzer and advance.

Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth presents "Donald Sultan: The Disaster Paintings"
The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth presents the first exhibition focusing on Donald Sultan's seminal Disaster Paintings series, including 11 signature paintings from 1984 to 1990. The paintings use industrial materials, such as tar and Masonite tiles, to illustrate robust, man-made structures, including factories and train cars. The pieces exhibit a level of fragility in their propensity to be unhinged by catastrophic events. The exhibit is on display through April 23.
