Trinity Metro and DART make slight service changes for Labor Day 2026

There will be no TRE commuter train between Fort Worth and Dallas on the Labor Day holiday.

Don’t get caught without a ride on Labor Day. Public transit agencies Trinity Metro and DART are making slight adjustments to their schedules across Dallas-Fort Worth on Monday, September 7, although most services will continue running on weekend or regular schedules.
Here’s what to know before heading out for the holiday, as provided by the agencies:
Trinity Metro
Monday, September 7
- Bus and On-Demand paratransit: Sunday schedules.
- TEXRail: Regular schedule.
- On-Demand rideshare: Regular schedule.
- Trinity Railway Express (TRE): No service. Regular service resumes Tuesday, September 8.
- CentrePort Circulator: No service.
- TRE LINK: No service.
- Fort Worth Central Station: Kiosk closed.
- Customer assistance: Phone lines will be open from 5 am-5 pm at 817-215-8600.
DART
Monday, September 7
- Bus: Regular weekend schedule.
- Light rail: Regular weekend schedule.
- Silver Line: Regular weekend schedule.
- GoLink: Regular weekend schedule.
- Paratransit: Normal schedule. Riders should book and confirm trips in advance at 214-515-7272, through the DART Paratransit app, or online.
- Trinity Railway Express (TRE): No service. Regular service resumes Tuesday, September 8.
- DART Administrative Offices, DARTmart and Customer Support Center: Closed.
- Customer Relations: Open 8 am-5 pm at 214-979-1111 for trip planning and questions.
Riders should check schedules and service alerts before heading out, using the GoPass app or DART's website for DART trips and Trinity Metro's trip-planning tools for Fort Worth-area service.
