AC/DC powers up first rock tour in 9 years with stop in Arlington
The now-classic rock band AC/DC will go on tour in the United States for the first time in nine years with the 2025 Power Up North American Tour, which will include a stop at AT&T Stadium in Arlington on April 14.
The limited 13-city stadium trek will take place in April and May, starting in Minneapolis, Minnesota on April 10 and ending in Cleveland, Ohio on May 28.
Arlington is currently the only Texas city scheduled on the tour.
It is named after the Australian band's latest album, Power Up, which was released in 2020. The European leg of the tour took place throughout summer 2024.
Power Up went to No. 1 in 21 countries, including the United States. It was only the third time they've had a No. 1 album in the U.S., following For Those About to Rock We Salute You in 1981 and Black Ice in 2008.
Although AC/DC formed in 1973, 2025 will mark the 50th anniversary of their first two albums, High Voltage and T.N.T. The band's eighth album, 1980's Back in Black, remains the bestselling album by any band, with over 50 million sold.
Tickets for the tour will go on sale on Friday, December 6 at 12 pm at acdc.com/tour.
