Jingle Ball 2024 kicks off national holiday tour at Dickies Fort Worth
The stars were out for the holiday at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, where the national holiday-themed iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour 2024 kicked off on December 3.
The event featured performances from Kane Brown, Meghan Trainor, Jason Derulo, Madison Beer, Saweetie, Shaboozey, Dasha, Katseye, and Wonho. Attendance figures were not available from the promoter. Capacity at Dickies Arena for concerts is 14,000 people, although ticketcity.com said there were still 457 tickets left.
Country pop singer-songwriter Dasha was the opener, leading with songs “Didn’t I?,” “Ain’t No Friend of Mine,” “Bye Bye Bye” and “Austin,” while stunning in a festive (and short!) red dress.
Rap-country phenom Shaboozey — who will be on Saturday Night Live on December 7 — won over with several songs, ending on his hand-clapping hit “A Bar Song (Tipsy).”
K-pop star Wonho got the crowd on their feet with songs such as “Ain’t About You,” “Open Mind,” and his new single “What Would You Do?”
Rap artist Saweetie rocked the stage in an eye-catching blue “icy” outfit with her hit Christmas songs “Christmas My Type,” “Big Santa,” and a fun cover of “Santa Baby.”
Girl group Katseye delivered an exciting, dance-filled performance. Garbed in various shades of jewel-toned teal, the sextet took turns introducing themselves to the crowd and sharing their background and where each of them are from, ranging from the Philippines to Switzerland to America.
Pop queen Madison Beer followed with a performance of her hits “Home to Another One,” “Reckless,” “Selfish” and holiday song “Please Come Home for Christmas” - all while rocking a white fur-lined blue mini dress.
Hit-maker Meghan Trainor performed her songs “Dear Future Husband” and “All About That Base,” as well as Christmas songs from “A Very Trainor Christmas” in a Santa-inspired outfit.
Platinum-selling singer-songwriter Jason Derulo gave an electrifying show, performing hits such as “Swalla,” “Whatcha Say,” “Trumpets,” and “Wiggle."
Country music star Kane Brown closed out the show with his hits “Bury Me in Georgia,” “Heaven,” and “One Thing Right."
