Fort Worth's favorite slice of Hollywood is back: Season 2 of Paramount+ series Landman, from Fort Worth-area director Taylor Sheridan, will be filming on the streets of downtown Fort Worth this week, with accompanying street closures that will affect the area from June 24-26.

Landman is the show based on the Texas Monthly podcast Boomtown, which follows a story of roughnecks and wildcat billionaires fueling a boom. The first season of the series was released in fall 2024 with the last episode airing in January.

The show made Paramount+ history as the streaming service's most-watched series global premiere and finale, and ranked in the top 10 of original streaming series, taking the eighth spot. It was renewed for a second season in March, and now production is underway.

The series stars Billy Bob Thornton, Demi Moore, Andy Garcia, Ali Larter, Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Paulina Chávez, Kayla Wallace, Mark Collie, James Jordan and Colm Feore. Thornton received a Golden Globe Best Actor nomination for his role as the titular "land man" Tommy Norris, a crisis manager for an oil company.

With the production team filming in and around downtown Fort Worth, Sundance Square residents, workers, and residents will want to take note of the following locations, street closures, and parking limitations:
