1. Hot dog king Portillo's debuts new design at new location in Grapevine. Chicago-style hot dog chain Portillo's has opened a new location in DFW, and it's the first of its kind for the chain. The restaurant headed to Grapevine, at 460 W. SH-114, next door to Firebirds Wood Fired Grill and Son of a Butcher, where it opened its doors on December 5.
2. One Texas city hailed best place to travel in 2025 by Travel + Leisure. One group of proud Texans can now say they live in a destination city. Nationally recognized magazine Travel + Leisure has declared San Antonio one of the best places to travel in 2025.
