1. Tropic Lady restaurant-bar on Fort Worth's Race Street says aloha. A chill restaurant and bar in Fort Worth's River East district has closed: Tropic Lady, which opened in the former Fuzzy's Taco space at 2719 Race St. in 2023, has closed.

3. Party City chain to close all stores including 9 in Fort Worth. A chain of stores where the party is always going on is closing down: Party City will close all of its stores and has initiated layoffs, effective immediately. However, the actual store locations, including those around North Texas, will be open until February 28.

4. Kroger to open a new mega Marketplace supermarket in Fort Worth. Supermarket giant The Kroger Co. is planning to open a new store in Fort Worth. The store will be their big-sized Marketplace format and will be located in the Sendera Ranch community.
5. Fort Worth's acclaimed Heim Barbecue closes location to open another. One of Fort Worth's most celebrated barbecue restaurants is on the move: Heim Barbecue, a small chain that prides itself on traditional Texas style barbecue, is closing its location in Burleson's Old Town development.
