Other things to do include a Sesame Street production, two classical music concerts, a cabaret celebration of country music, two country concerts, screenings of a new film, an outdoor concert, a big rodeo event, and the final days of a notable exhibition.

Main St. Fort Worth Arts Festival
The 38th annual Main St. Fort Worth Arts Festival spans 18 square blocks in the heart of the city. It will feature four days of art, live music, interactive family activities, and a wide array of culinary options. Headlining performers will include Jackie Venson, The Inspiration Band, Def Leggend, and Texas Latino. The event takes place through Sunday in downtown Fort Worth.
Fort Worth Art Fair
TheFort Worth Art Fair is an annual outdoor art and music festival designed to provide Fort Worth and North Texas artists and musicians with a place to showcase their talent alongside the national touring Main Street Fort Worth Arts Festival. Taking place exclusively in Sundance Square Plaza through Sunday, it will feature a variety of local galleries and exhibits and a music stage featuring many local bands and musicians.
Sesame Street Live! Say Hello
Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Cookie Monster, and their friends from Sesame Street come to Fort Worth with Sesame Street Live! Say Hello. The audience can sing, dance, and play alongside their favorite furry friends while they follow Elmo’s puppy, Tango, in a fun game of hide & seek. The performance takes place at Will Rogers Auditorium.
The Cliburn presents Jean-Guihen Queyras and Fei-Fei
Cellist Jean-Guihen Queyras, making his Cliburn Concerts debut, will be joined by 2013 Cliburn finalist Fei-Fei in a program featuring selections by Debussy, Schumann, and Rachmaninov. The concert takes place at Kimbell Art Museum.
Casa Mañana presents '90s Country: The Decade That Changed Country Music
At '90s Country: The Decade That Changed Country Music, audiences can jam along to throwbacks from their favorite '90s artists with the stars of the Reid Cabaret Theatre. The production features the music of Garth Brooks, Shania Twain, Randy Travis, Reba McEntire, Alan Jackson, Tim McGraw, and more. The production runs at Casa Mañana through April 25.
Huser Brothers in concert
It's always a special time when a band makes its Billy Bob's Texas debut, which is what will happen on Thursday when the Huser Brothers come to town. The Waco-born brothers have been making waves in the independent music scene with their unique blend of country and rock. They'll come to Fort Worth in support of their 2024 album, Left You Lonely.

Magnolia at the Modern: A Nice Indian Boy
When Naveen (Karan Soni) brings his fiancé Jay (Jonathan Groff) home to meet his traditional Indian family, they must contend with accepting his white-orphan-artist boyfriend and helping them plan the Indian wedding of their dreams. The film will screen six times through Sunday at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth.
Fort Worth Botanic Garden presents Blooms & Beats
Blooms & Beats combines the beauty of nature with the joy of music and local flavors. Guests can enjoy spring at Fort Worth Botanic Garden while listening to live music performances by Jimmy Barcus and His Rockabilly Band. There will also be offerings from Fort Worth food trucks like Leo’s Churro Bar & Smackin Mac Gourmet Mac and Cheese Bowls, yard games, and a selection of adult beverages.
The American Rodeo Championship Weekend
The American Rodeo Championship Weekend merges high-stakes rodeo action with music performances, offering a blend of sport and entertainment. Fans can cheer on both rodeo’s reigning champions as well as underdog "Contenders," and then enjoy concerts by Bailey Zimmerman, Riley Green, and rising star Ella Langley. The event takes place on Friday and Saturday at Globe Life Field in Arlington.
Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra presents "Wagner's The Flying Dutchman"
Wagner’s opera The Flying Dutchman is an eerie tale of redemption through love, set in the fearsome world of a ghost sea captain. To close out their symphonic season, the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra has assembled an all-star vocal cast and chorus to bring this spectral story to life in sharp relief, with all the tempestuousness and drama of Wagner’s music distilled in a special semi-staged production. There will be three performances through Sunday at Bass Performance Hall.
Chris Young in concert
True to his name, country singer Chris Young started at a relatively young age, releasing his debut album at the age of 21. He had five straight No. 1 singles from 2009-2011, and his songs have rarely been outside of the top 10 since. He's released nine albums in his career, including Young Love & Saturday Nights in 2024. He'll play on both Friday and Saturday at Billy Bob's Texas.

Syndicate Smokedown & Music Festival
The Fort Worth Stock Show Syndicate's 4th annual Smokedown & Music Festival will feature samples from some of the best barbecue joints around, as well as music from Treaty Oak Revival, 49 Winchester, Braxton Keith, Shelby Stone, The Georges, The Derailers, and Dale Watson. The one-day event takes place at Fort Worth Stockyards Station.
Sunday, April 13
Arlington Museum of Art presents "Princess Diana: Accredited Access Exhibition" closing day
Sunday will be the final day to view "Princess Diana: Accredited Access Exhibition" at the Arlington Museum of Art, which tells the story of the world’s most loved princess through an intimate new lens. The exhibition features a collection of larger-than-life images taken by Diana’s trusted friend and Official Royal Photographer, the late Anwar Hussein, as well as his sons Samir and Zak.
