Fort Worth's Shops at Clearfork welcomes new luxury designer store
An international fashion brand joins the mix at The Shops at Clearfork: CH Carolina Herrera, which is the retail chain founded by the eponymous designer in 2001, will open a location on Monahans Avenue, between Louis Vuitton and Tory Burch.
According to a release, it'll open in late spring.
Chandler Wallace, the Shops' Director of Marketing, says in a statement that the store's arrival bolsters the center's collection of luxury options.
CH Carolina Herrera is the lifestyle label, IE the less expensive ready-to-wear stuff. Designs feature classic shapes including lean trousers, pencil skirts, A-line ball dresses, and nipped-waist jackets, rendered in silk, jacquard, taffeta, and mink. Weird to see mink, since most of the fashion industry has turned away from using real fur, but CH is still clinging on.
Carolina herself withdrew from the business in 2018, but her daughters are still involved in the company and her style is reflected in the store's travel collections, handbags, footwear, jewelry, scarves, plus limited-edition items for babies, sports, the office, leisure time, and driving.
The Clearfork store will span 1,900 square feet, with departments for women, men, and children. Decor will feature simple materials such as wood, leather, silk, linen, and brass.
The boutique will include a fireplace and library, with aromatic candles in every corner filling the store with what a release says are CH Carolina Herrera's three signature scents, although her website seems to list four scents or maybe five, it's impossible to tell. Specially selected music and books complete the experience.
CH Carolina Herrera has opened stores throughout Europe, America, the Middle East, and Asia. There are around 170 freestanding stores and more than 200 shop-in-shops in stores such as Macy's.
In the Dallas-Fort Worth area, there's a CH Carolina Herrera location at NorthPark Center, and a regular Carolina Herrera boutique at Highland Park Village.
The Shops at Clearfork is already home to luxury specialty retailers that include Neiman Marcus, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Tiffany & Co., and more, plus a slew of restaurants and entertainment options including B&B Butchers & Restaurant, City Works Eatery and Pour House, Crú Food & Wine Bar, Fixe Southern House, and Rise No. 3, as well as AMC Theatres and Pinstripes.
