Preppy online brand finds brick-and-mortar home in Southlake Town Square

Women’s clothing company Lauren James is bringing its preppy style to Southlake, with the opening of a boutique at Southlake Town Square on September 2. This is only the second Texas location for the brand, which recently opened a store in Plano, at the Shops at Legacy. The only other retail store is in Arkansas.
Lauren James was launched in 2013 by nurse-turned-fashion-designer Lauren Stokes. It quickly developed a dedicated fan base who loved the brand’s preppy, feminine style. Originally available only online and via select retailers, the company has now begun expanding with brick-and-mortar storefronts.
“We identified Southlake Town Square, and their community, as a perfect fit for our second location,” said Lauren James COO Lance Stokes in a release. “We’re thrilled and honored to be a part of these exciting mixed-use and lifestyle centers.”
Lauren James joins more than 120 other specialty retail shops and restaurants, including Apple, Anthropologie, Lululemon, and Sephora, at the upscale, open-air, mixed-use development.
