Shark Tank-backed polo shirt startup opens store in Southlake

Collars & Co.
A menswear brand backed by an investment from Shark Tank is making its Texas debut: Called Collars & Co., it just opened its first Texas store in the DFW area in Southlake at 120 State St. in Southlake Town Square.
Collars & Co. has achieved the feat of reimagining men’s shirts with a patent-pending Dress Collar Polo, which combines a soft shirt with a crisp collar.
CEO Justin Baer founded the company in 2021.
"Collars & Co. was created because we hated wearing dress shirts under our sweaters and jackets everyday to work in NYC," Baer says in a statement. "It was always uncomfortable, hot, a pain to get on and then after wearing them, we would have to have our expensive dress shirts dry cleaned."
They arrived at a soft polo with a standard English spread collar — significantly impressive to secure a $1 million deal with Mark Cuban and Peter Jones on Shark Tank.
“I love my Collars & Co. wardrobe. It's my go-to for meetings, Zooms and more,” Cuban says. “The clothes look and feel great and are incredibly low maintenance. I'm excited that everyone around Dallas can now enjoy Collars & Co. at our new store at Southlake Town Square!"
They've since unveiled a full line of men's clothes including jackets, blazers, shoes, shorts, T-shirts, and pants, and have also expanded into women's wear & accessories, although the 2,000-square-food Southlake store sells men's clothes only.
“We’re thrilled to bring the Collars & Co. shopping experience to Dallas,” Baer says. “It’s not just a store, it’s an invitation for our customers to step into our world of elevated comfort and sharp style. Seeing and wearing our signature pieces in person brings our mission to life: helping modern men look and feel their best.”
Southlake is their sixth retail location, joining Boca Raton, Chicago, King of Prussia/Pennsylvania, Rockville/Maryland, and Topanga, California.
