Where To Shop Now
Where to shop in Fort Worth right now: 5 must-hit stores for October
As Tarrant County grows, so does the demand for new and unique retail offerings. There are several new outlets with a focus on home (especially the kitchen), as well as fashion and tech. This is where to shop in Fort Worth this month:
Amazon Pop-Up at the Parks at Arlington
Everyone's favorite e-tailer has set up temporary digs at Parks Mall. Pop by and browse the full range of Amazon devices (Echo, Fire TV, Fire Tablets, Dash Button, and Kindle). In-store experts show you each device in action, and they can help you set them up. Plus, all Amazon.com deals are matched. The pop-up is located on Level 1, near Forever 21, and will be open through the holidays.
Apricot Lane
Southlake Town Center has added yet another national fashion boutique to its roster. The new addition is Apricot Lane, known for cozy, down-home casual wear for women, as well as Pinterest-worthy accessories and gifts. There is also a location at Galleria Dallas.
Chopper Supply Co.
Much more than just a motorcycle parts shop, the newly expanded Chopper Supply Co. now offers everything from vintage clothing to custom-made hats and shirts. Even if you prefer to ride on four wheels instead of two, you're almost guaranteed to find that elusive fashion staple: the perfect leather motorcycle jacket.
Sur la Table
New to the Waterside shopping development is the high-end kitchen supply chain, which specializes in quality cookware, utensils, gadgets, and more. Any gourmand can tell you that Sur la Table is a one-stop shop for staples such as La Creuset bakeware. Don't know your way around the kitchen very well? Sur la Table also is famous for in-store cooking classes and live demonstrations.
Whole Foods
Also opening at Waterside is Whole Foods Market, a state-of-the-art grocery shopping experience, with offerings above and beyond groceries. In addition to grab-and-go sushi, pizza, sandwiches, salad bar, hot food bar, and a smokehouse, there is The Bar, an in-store venue with 16 beers on tap. This Whole Foods also has shuffleboard and 12 TVs. A grand opening celebration takes place October 12.
