2 new residential communities are going up north and south of Fort Worth
Two new residential communities are coming to the Fort Worth area, one in Denton and the other in Kennedale, promising inner-city-style amenities without having to actually live in the inner city.
The new builds are from Wood Partners, an Atlanta-based multifamily developer that owns 70-plus properties across the U.S. representing more than 20,000 homes.
They've already begun construction on the following:
- Alta Landing in Kennedale. Scheduled to open Spring 2022
- Alta Denton Station. Scheduled to open Fall 2022
These combined with two other 2021 projects — Alta 3Eighty in Aubrey, and Alta at the Farm — will add more than 1,100 new units total.
Alta Denton Station will consist of 248 units, including one-, two-, and three-bedroom floor plans. Residences will feature: luxurious kitchens with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, & tile backsplash; in-unit washer and dryers; wood plank "flooring" throughout.
Interior amenities will include a community clubhouse, state-of-the-art fitness center, remote working capabilities, and seating for social gatherings.
Outdoor amenities will include a resort-style pool with courtyard, grilling areas, and pet facilities.
Alta Landing will be located 10 miles south of Fort Worth within the 287 Corridor, and will provide 270 apartment homes complete with studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom floor plans.
Units will be outfitted with high-end interior finishes including granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, tile backsplashes, upgraded fixtures, wood plank "flooring," and in-unit washer and dryer sets.
A luxurious amenity package will include a community clubhouse, state-of-the-art fitness facility, a courtyard with outdoor seating and grilling areas, dog park and pet pampering facilities, and Wi-Fi availability throughout. In a nutshell: similar to the amenities in Denton, but located in Kennedale instead.
In a statement, Managing Director Ryan Miller says the residences will be convenient to shopping, dining, entertainment, top employers, and universities, but again without having to endure actually living in the city, because ugh.
"Positioned in two of Dallas/Fort Worth's most sought after areas, Alta Denton Station and Alta Landing will offer residents affordable, Class A accommodations and convenient access to all that the city has to offer, without the added hassles that accompany high-density living," Miller says.
The two new communities join an entire portfolio of Alta-named complexes by Wood Partners including Alta River Oaks in Houston, Alta Grand Central in Chicago, Alta at Lake Eve in Orlando, Alta 801 in Washington DC, Alta Alameda Station in Denver, Alta Arlo in Seattle, Alta Brookhaven in Atlanta, Alta Central in Phoenix, and many more.
In the DFW area alone, there is already Alta Sherman Station in Denton, Alta Denton in Denton, Alta Grand Crossing in Grand Prairie, Alta Midtown Park in Dallas, Alta 1900 Lofts in Dallas, Alta Preston in Plano, Alta 289 in Plano, Alta Spring Creek in Garland, Alta Champions Circle in Fort Worth — look, you get the point, right? They like Alta.
Miller says these two additions are in response to Dallas/Fort Worth's continued growth in population.
"As Wood Partners continues to experience tremendous growth within the Dallas/Fort Worth area, we are thrilled to further expand our footprint with the groundbreaking of Alta Denton Station and Alta Landing," Miller says.
Pre-leasing will begin in Summer 2022 for Alta Denton Station and Fall 2022 for Alta Landing.
