S’mores Stout: Beer and Donut Flights at Martin House Brewing
There’s no campfire required to enjoy s’mores in sippable form thanks to the brewery’s launch of its limited-edition Imperial stout brewed with graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows. Through Wednesday, visit Martin House’s Riverside Lounge for $10 beer flights, which feature the new stout along with pours of cinnamon graham cracker beer, double chocolate beer, and marshmallow cream beer. Each flight also comes with a s’mores doughnut from Funky Town Donuts. The lounge is open from 4-10 pm each day.

Grand Opening of Grub Burger Bar in Alliance
The College Station-based bar and restaurant is celebrating the opening of its first Fort Worth location with a fanfare. On opening day, there'll be free entrees for the first 100 people, mystery gift cards, shake samples, and more. Burgers range from the simple “front porch” with lettuce, tomato, mayo, and mustard to more eclectic varieties topped with absinthe sautéed mushrooms or mac ‘n’ cheese. There are also margaritas, martinis, sangria, and rum punch. The restaurant opens at 11 am.

Robert Foley Wine Dinner at Ellerbe Fine Foods
It’s the ninth year the Napa Valley winemaker will visit the farm-to-table restaurant for an elaborate dinner paired with his namesake wines. Executive chef Molly McCook’s menu — five courses total — ranges from grilled haloumi salad (that’s a cheese) to slow-roasted leg of lamb. Wines range from Rosé to Port. Seating times are 6:30 pm or 7 pm, and dinner is $165 per person, plus tax and gratuity.
Friday, January 18
Splash & Go – Cambria Wine Tasting at Cadillac Wines
Three wines and three cheese pairings will be presented at this complimentary tasting featuring Santa Maria Valley-based Cambria wines. Patrons of the Cadillac dealership wine bar will sip Chardonnay and two Pinot Noirs. Stop by anytime from 4-7 pm to “splash and go.”
Beer & Yoga at Shannon Brewing Company
Poses and pints are paired together at this evening yoga class inside the Keller brewery. The class will be led by Southlake’s Divine Center of Yoga, and participants can unwind afterward with two pints of their choice from the taproom. The fee is $20 per person ($8 for those doing yoga only) and class begins at 6:30 pm.
