Rosé and crawfish? One local restaurant says “yes” and will pair the two during a one-night crawfish extravaganza. This week also brings a taco festival, a taste of Grapevine, and a wine dinner so popular, a second night was added when the first sold out.

FnG Eats April 2019 Wine Dinner and Communal Gathering
There are two nights for the Keller restaurant’s monthly wine dinner — but Wednesday is already sold out. The four-course communal meal will be paired with California wines ranging from Chenin Blanc and rosé to Viognier and a red blend. Menu highlights include a seared ahi tuna salad and wood grilled beef medallions with jalapeño bacon cheddar gratin. The dinner is $65 per person, plus tax and gratuity, and begins at 7 pm.

Ellerbe Crawfish Extravaganza
A springtime crawfish boil is part of executive chef Molly McCook’s family tradition. Join the fun with three courses, including a crispy crawfish-topped Louisiana wedge salad, crawfish bisque, crawfish cake and stuffed crawfish pistoulette, and a coconut cream pie to polish it all off. The meal is $40 per person, plus tax and gratuity. There’ll be special pricing on rosé and local Martin House brews that are perfect for pairings. The event will run from 5:30-9:30 pm, and reservations are required.
24th Annual Great Taste of Grapevine
Take a trip to the Hilton DFW Lakes hotel for an evening of Grapevine bites. Participants include JudyPie, Loveria Caffe, Mac’s on Main, Mi Dia From Scratch, Winewood Grill, and about 20 other Grapevine-area restaurants. The $30 early bird ticket ($40 at the door) includes all samples and one beverage — there’ll be a cash bar for those who want more. The event benefits the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce school supply program. Bring the kids — tickets for children 12 and under are $10. The event will run 5:30-8:30 pm.
Viva Rosé! at Urban Alchemy Coffee + Wine Bar
Explore the growing world of rosé with a sommelier talk and tasting at this Arlington coffee shop and wine bar. Hors d’oeuvres are included in the $25 ticket price, and the event begins at 6:30 pm.

El Fuerte Fort Worth Taco Fest 2019
To be held at The Shack at Panther Island Pavilion, this afternoon festival is all about tacos. Participants include Bird Café, Godley’s Del Norte Tacos, and Danye’s Craft BBQ. (The full list will be announced later this week.) Guests get unlimited samples and can vote on their favorite. The event will run from 12-4 pm, and general admission tickets are $35. A $50 VIP ticket allows for early entry at 11 am and access to a VIP bar and bathrooms with AC. Beer and margaritas will be available for purchase. Tickets for kids age 6 to 13 are $15.
