Restaurant with brawny breakfast and brunch bops into Fort Worth
The day draws near for the opening of the first Snooze an A.M. Eatery in Fort Worth. The Denver chain known for eclectic and innovative breakfast creations and cocktails any time of the day, opens a branch at the Left Bank development on October 24.
Snooze was founded in 2006 and has been colonizing Texas, first entering the state in 2016 with a branch in Austin. They've since opened locations in Austin, Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas, where they've been universally met with lines out the door.
So far its strategy has been to open in happening retail complexes. In addition to the Left Bank, the chain has locations in Dallas, which opened at The Hill in September, and Addison, which opened in June.
Located at 2150 W. Seventh St., the Snooze at Left Bank will join tenants such as 85°C Bakery Cafe and Hopdoddy Burger Bar.
Snooze serves creative twists on classic breakfast items like eggs Benedicts, sandwiches, pancakes, and lighter offerings.
Signature dishes include pineapple upside-down pancakes, breakfast pot pie, and a "chile verde Benny" with green chili-sauced tortillas, pulled pork or barbacoa-style beef, poached eggs, and green chili hollandaise.
Their selection of "morning cocktails" includes cocktails made with coffee, and a line of Bloody Marys such as the one with bacon-infused Cyrus Noble Bourbon and house bloody mix.
Eco-friendly practices are part of their day-to-day operations. That includes energy, water, and resource conservation, plus composting and recycling.
The Fort Worth Snooze is unique in that it's the first with two stories. As a nod to the local scene, it will feature a mural of the Stockyards.
