Silver Oak & Twomey Wine Tasting at 3 Vino
Taste wines from two of California’s most revered names in the industry at this charming Roanoke wine bar. The $45 tasting will include five wines along with a cheese plate. Guests can also take advantage of deeply discounted pricing on bottles the night of the event. No reservations are necessary and the tasting runs from 6-8:30 pm.
Riscky’s 90th Anniversary
It was 1927 when Polish immigrants Joe and Mary Riscky opened their namesake grocery store and market, and the original location is still open on Azle Avenue in north Fort Worth. The barbecue joint will commemorate 90 years with a party in the Stockyards at the Exchange Avenue location, where spectators can enjoy free barbecue samples, complimentary Rahr beer, and a live radio remote with 95.9 The Ranch. The event runs from 5-7 pm, and admission is free. All Riscky’s locations will also offer 90-cent chopped beef sandwiches through October 29.

Brunch Bash at Trio New American Cuisine
The Colleyville restaurant will launch Saturday brunch service with a party worth waking up early for. Enjoy complimentary mimosas, live music, and brunch dishes like bananas Foster Belgian waffles, pork belly hash, and spicy cornflake-crusted chicken and waffles. Brunch will be served from 10 am-2 pm, and reservations are recommended.
Revolver Brewing 5thAnniversary Party
It’s been five years since father-son duo Ron and Rhett Keisler partnered with master brewer Grant Wood to open Granbury’s first brewery, and there’s a big party on tap to celebrate. Admission is to the family-friendly event is $10 (kids under 18 are admitted free) and includes a fifth anniversary logo pint glass and eight 4-ounce beer tastings for those 21 and older. Guests can choose from 25 different selections, including some never-before-seen brews. Cresson-based BBQ on the Brazos will be on site selling smoked brisket, and there’ll be live music by the Shane Rogers Band. Festivities run from 12-3 pm.
