Utah coffee chain Beans & Brews pours first cups in Mansfield for DFW debut

Beans & Brews Coffeehouse is new in Mansfield.
A coffee concept from Salt Lake City has made its Dallas-Fort Worth debut in Mansfield: Beans & Brews Coffeehouse has opened its doors in a busy retail corridor at 2411 E Broad St., Mansfield.
Beans & Brews is known for its "high-altitude roasting" method, whereby beans are roasted "at the lowest possible temperature for the shortest amount of time to capture the essence of its mountain origins, delivering a smoother, more intense flavor," says a release.
The coffeehouse's menu includes specialty espresso drinks, original cold brews, chai, matcha, lemonades, energy drinks, and kids' drinks. Specialty drinks include a Snowball Mocha (white chocolate and coconut flavors), Cocoa Haze Cold Brew (cold brew with mocha, toasted hazelnut, and French vanilla flavors), an Espresso Float, and a Frozen Latte.
They've also recently introduced a line of 10 protein-rich coffees - served hot or iced - keeping up with the likes of Starbucks and Dunkin, who've also just hopped on the protein coffee trend.
Food offerings include breakfast sandwiches on bagels or croissants, egg bites, avocado toast, paninis, and churros with caramel sauce.
Beans & Brews is offering a free small drink (up to a $6 value) for those who sign up for their email list online.
The Mansfield shop was designed to invite guests in with a warm coffeehouse feel (without a drive-thru, per local zoning rules).
It's owned and operated by GMV Holdings, a local six-member family-led team: husband-and-wife duo Cari and Tony Golovich, his parents, and his sister and brother-in-law. The release says the family wanted to build something meaningful for their three daughters’ futures.
“We wanted something we could build as a family; something our girls could one day be part of,” says franchise owner Cari Golovich in the release. “When we learned about Beans & Brews’ values, their roasting philosophy, and the brand’s focus on people and community, it just clicked. The support from Mansfield already has been incredible, and we love watching people walk in, sit down, and immediately feel at home.”
GMV Holdings has signed a three-store development agreement and plans to expand Beans & Brews throughout Dallas-Fort Worth, they say.
