Brewed Coffee, the Magnolia Avenue coffee shop, is opening a new location inside DFW Airport at Terminal E, where it's set to open in early 2026. This will be the coffee shop's second location in the airport; they opened a location in Terminal D in 2019. The Terminal E location will serve coffee, espresso drinks, cold brew, and tea. Brewed Coffee was first started by co-owner Joey Turner in 2012 as a cozy coffee shop with coffee, all-day brunch, and alcohol. They briefly opened a location in the Bishop Arts District of Oak Cliff in 2019 that later closed in 2024.
Caribou Coffee, a coffee chain headquartered in Minneapolis, has joined the avalanche of coffee chains trying to break into the DFW market, with the opening of a drive-thru location in Watauga at 5955 Rufe Snow Dr. — taking over a former location of Scooter's Coffee, a drive-through coffeehouse chain headquartered in Bellevue, Nebraska. Caribou was founded in 1992 and is part of Panera Brands, alongside Panera Bread and Einstein Bros. Bagels. Their only other Caribou Coffee location in DFW is at DFW Airport at Gate B29.
Palio's Pizza Cafe is now open at a new location at 6728 W. Vickery Blvd. in Fort Worth. The space was previously Gilligan's Pizza. This longtime local chain with 27 locations around DFW features pizza, calzones, sandwiches, keto bowl, and salads. It's also BYOB. According to a post, this represents a relocation from a branch that was previously at 4855 Bryant Irvin Rd., which the owners left due to a leasing disagreement.
Bowie House, the hotel at 3700 Camp Bowie Blvd. that's part of the Auberge Resorts Collection portfolio, has opened The Yard, an outdoor venue with food and drink, some of which is from the hotel's chophouse Bricks & Horses. They've also reopened Whinny's. their pool terrace restaurant.
El Tiempo, the Mexican restaurant that opened in 2024 in Choctaw Stadium in Arlington, is under new ownership by Patina Restaurant Group, a hospitality branch of mega-food-service company Delaware North. El Tiempo is a Houston chain founded by father-and-son Roland and Domenic Laurenzo, who opened the first location in 1998 as an offshoot of the famous Mama Ninfa's Tex Mex chain. Arlington represented the first El Tiempo outside Houston for the family. Patina was originally founded in Los Angeles and manages restaurants in museums, entertainment centers, and other public venues.
North Italia, the Italian concept from Fox Restaurants Group, has a new menu for spring and summer featuring garlic knot sliders, chicken scarpariello, and brunch items like strawberries & cream French toast and poached eggs & polenta. They've also added cocktails such as Cacio E Pepe Dirty Martini and Alta Rossa.
Corner Bakery Cafe has three new sandwiches on the menu: roast beef bleu, pretzel with turkey or ham, and ham or turkey and Swiss on a croissant. There's also a big comeback: the DC Chicken Salad Sandwich, following overwhelming guest demand, featuring chicken, celery, green apple, red onion, currants, and almonds, with lettuce & tomato, served on a new round croissant. Provender Hall Bar & Grill, the restaurant in The Stockyards from chef Marcus Paslay's From Scratch Hospitality, has two new non-alcoholic beverages that light up: Stockyards Sparkler with sparkling cherry lemonade and Neon Lemonade with elctric blue raspberry lemonade. Designed with a light-up ice cube keepsake, they're fun for the kids and also make a good mocktail. Drinks are $8 each. sweet tea in our restored hay loft, complete with western decor and classic southern fare.

FB Society, the Dallas hospitality group, is opening a food hall in the historic Lord & Taylor building at 424 Fifth Ave. in New York City. Called Shaver Hall, it features 11 food stalls including an omakase concept, wine and cheese bar, steakhouse, and bodega.
Koe Wetzel Riot Room co-owner Koe Wetzel, an award-winning country music star, has formed a partnership with Outlaw Light Beer. Wetzel will play an active role in the beer's marketing initiatives, including fan experiences, co-branded merchandise, and brand activations at his live shows across the U.S. We care about Wetzel because he co-opened the first location of his Koe Wetzel Riot Room bar in Fort Worth in 2023 alongside hospitality veteran Emil Bragdon. He's since opened a second location in Houston, and has another slated for Nashville.
