New-to-Texas Broadway 10 chophouse to open in luxury Fort Worth apartments
A new steakhouse is coming to downtown Fort Worth: Called Broadway 10 Bar & Chophouse (B|10), it'll open at 969 Commerce St., on the ground level of the coming-soon luxury apartment community Deco.
According to a release, Deco is slated to open to residents in March. B|10 will follow with an opening in late 2024.
B|10 is a modern chophouse owned and operated by Oklahoma-based Provision Concepts, who opened the original in 2014 in a redesigned former Buick dealership in Oklahoma City.
The menu features hand-cut steaks and seafood grilled over pecan, oak, and hickory woods, plus sushi, wines, and cocktails. It boasts some twists on the usual steakhouse fare with starters such as calamari, coconut shrimp, and a chopped Asian chicken salad.
Steaks include your T-bone, porterhouse, filet, and NY strip, which can be ordered with luxe toppings such as blue cheese butter or a petite lobster tail. Plus fun entree specials like beef tips, chopped beef Wellington, and meatloaf with Gouda mashed potatoes.
The sushi selection is concise with classic rolls like spicy tuna, dragon, and California roll. There are also half a dozen seafood entrees including scallop & lobster bucatini. And hey, there's even three vegan options including a Hasselback sweet potato with corn confetti and hummus; and a portabella steak with rainbow quinoa.
In a statement, founder Jeff Dixon says they're thrilled to bring Broadway 10 Bar & Chophouse to Fort Worth. "Our goal is to seamlessly blend the elegance of urban dining with the rich cultural heritage of Fort Worth. Broadway 10 is not just a restaurant; it's an experience that focuses on our relationships with our guests," Dixon says.
Spanning 8,500 square feet, with floor-to-ceiling windows and an inviting atmosphere, it's designed to be a destination for not only residents of Deco, but for locals and tourists.
Deco is the first residential tower in downtown Fort Worth in more than 30 years. The 27-story high-rise features 302 "spacious and sophisticated" one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartment homes and penthouses, that they say will merge comfort with modern conveniences and amenities, such as downtown views, Art Deco interiors, 24th-floor sun-facing pool with heated spa, doggie day spa, Bianco Carrara quartz countertops, chrome Moen fixtures, no fancy detail is too small to list.
The building is from Southern Land Company (SLC), a Nashville-based developer of mixed-use developments and master-planned communities.
SLC founder and CEO Tim Downey says that Broadway 10 Bar & Chophouse will be an exciting addition.
“We planned and designed Deco to offer best-in-class experiences, and Broadway 10 Bar & Chophouse is the right restaurant partner to deliver on this," Downey says. "Jeff and his team are outstanding at what they do. I am proud Broadway 10’s first location in Texas will be at Deco, and I look forward to enjoying many meals there.”
