Bubble & Bean Cafe brings boba and milkshakes to Bedford

Bubble & Bean Cafe
A cafe serving boba tea and milkshakes is now open in Bedford: Called Bubble & Bean Cafe, it’s a mom-and-pop shop located in a former music school at 2901 Martin Dr. #A, where it opened in the spring.
Husband-and-wife Victor and Jeanetta Garcia started the cafe as a pop-up and food truck in July 2024.
“We wanted to try making something on our own, something we could build that was just ours,” Victor says.
The cafe specializes in bubble tea with popping boba, lemonades, coffee, and chai. Signatures include strawberry milk tea with strawberry popping boba, and the Brown Sugar Boba Latte, a coffee drink with tapioca boba balls served over ice.
One unique creation is their bubble shake, which combines all of the ingredients of a boba drink and a milkshake.
"We blend Blue Bell vanilla ice cream with any of our fruit syrups such as dragon fruit, mango, pineapple, or lychee, then mix in your choice of popping boba — that's the bubble — into the shake and top with whipped cream and more boba," Victor says.
Prices range from $4 to $7.
In addition to beverages, they have sweet snacks such as bubble waffles, ice cream cones, mini chocolate chip cookies, cinnamon rolls, Pop-Tarts, and chips.
The cafe is a small cozy space with seven tables and seating for 25. There’s also a stage for kids to sing, color, or hang out. They're a great hangout for teens and young adults, Victor says.
"We love donating and hosting spirit nights for local school groups, and we often take the trailer to different places around town for school events," he says.
