Arizona chain Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers is coming to Euless, Texas
A burger-and-beer joint founded in Arizona is coming to Texas: Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers, a casual restaurant serving exactly what the name says, is opening its first Texas location in Euless at Glade Parks, 2221 SH-121.
According to a release, it'll open on October 16 with a menu featuring starters, wings, burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, and many varieties of mac & cheese.
The concept was founded in Scottsdale in 2011 and is part of Square One Concepts, a company founded by S. Barrett Rinzler, who has founded numerous concepts such as Bourbon and Bones, Crab & Mermaid Fish Shop, and Wasted Grain.
Their signature is half-pound burgers such as the CB&CB with Gruyere, caramelized onion, pickle, lettuce and garlic aioli ($15.95); and the Bacon Bleu with avocado ($17.95).
They have a wide selection of beers, plus seltzers, cocktails, wines and non-alcoholic options as well in comfortable surroundings.
In addition to burgers, dishes include Buffalo Chicken Tot Chos, a Jumbo Salted Pretzel, and Garlic Parmesan Fries, plus a quartet of mac & cheese options that include basic, hot & smoky, chili, and a mac & cheese with chicken and broccoli.
There are sliders and sandwiches such as a BLT and a prime dip; hot dogs, wings, and salads including Caesar, Asian chicken, and Cobb. Sweets and indulgences include milkshakes, desserts, and boozy milkshakes.
The interior boasts black leather booths, high tops and tables, and a bar with more than 60 HD TVs.
Rinzler says in a statement that "we could not be more thrilled to expand to the great state of Texas. This 18th and newest location of Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers will offer our brand of sports-themed dining without compromising food quality or atmosphere. We look forward to pleasing the Texas appetite."
He says he was inspired to found the concept from my own personal experience at sports bars and having a background in the industry.
"I enjoyed catching a game at a local spot, but I was annoyed by the quality of the food," he says. "From that point, we decided ‘let’s do this’ and in 2011, we opened the first Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers in North Scottsdale with plenty of beer, TVs to see most any game, and a scratch kitchen. We’ve grown steadily pleasing our patrons ever since."
