Texas supermarket chain H-E-B opens new H-E-B Alliance in north Fort Worth
It's a special day for far north Fort Worth: The H-E-B supermarket chain has opened its H-E-B Alliance store in north Tarrant County on April 10, the fifth store the San Antonio-based retailer has opened in the DFW Metroplex.
The new store is 125,000 square feet and is located at 3451 Heritage Trace Pkwy., at the northwest corner of Heritage Trace Parkway and North Riverside Drive on the northern edge of Fort Worth.
H-E-B Alliance joins two Central Market locations, which have served Tarrant County for more than two decades, and H-E-B Mansfield, a location expected to open later this year.
"We’re excited to open our doors and welcome our neighbors in this dynamic area of Tarrant County, a community we’ve served for more than 20 years with our Central Market stores,” said Chase Bowman, H-E-B Alliance Top Store Leader. “With an enhanced in-store experience and commitment to top-quality service and selection, our dedicated Partners are eager to serve the needs of our customers in this growing community.”
Filled with amenities that H-E-B is known for, the Alliance store has distinctive features such as a True Texas BBQ restaurant with drive-thru; full-service H-E-B Pharmacy with a drive-thru; and Texas Backyard department with a selection of outdoor essentials.
The store also offers H-E-B Curbside and Home Delivery, which allows customers to place orders online for pickup at the store or home delivery.
Additional store highlights include bakery, deli, Sushiya sushi, an Asian grill, cooking demonstrations, produce section, meat market, floral department, craft beer and wine with sampling station, healthy living with supplements, cosmetics, pet toys, and household goods.

The H-E-B Alliance opening follows H-E-B store openings in Frisco, Plano, McKinney, and Allen. In the DFW area, H-E-B has also announced stores in Mansfield, Melissa and Prosper, which are under construction, and Rockwall, which will break ground soon.
The company has also started construction on two Joe V’s Smart Shop by H-E-B stores in Dallas, the first locations planned to open outside the Houston area, offering an innovative price format that delivers the most relevant, high-quality, fresh products H-E-B is known for at even lower prices.
