Brandon Watson is the former food editor for CultureMap Austin and San Antonio. Although born in Colorado, Brandon got to Texas as fast as he could, and the state's food is his lifeblood. Previously the food editor and chief restaurant critic of the Austin Chronicle, he was witness to one of the most dynamic food scenes in the world. He continued singing the gospel of Austin food at CultureMap, while covering San Antonio's burgeoning culinary scene.
