Frozen yogurt shop Orange Leaf will bring self-serve froyo to Aledo

Froyo's headed to Aledo via Orange Leaf, a quick-service chain that will host a grand opening at its new location in Aledoat 601 S. FM 1187 #E, in the same shopping center as the Aledo Athletic Club, on Sunday, December 7, from 1-5 pm.
Orange Leaf Aledo is owned and operated by David Bauman, a Marine Corps veteran who has lived with his family in Aledo since 2021 and wants Orange Leaf Aledo to serve as a hub for families, friends, students, and community members to connect and gather in a shared space to enjoy sweet treats.
“Our vision for Orange Leaf Aledo is to become a true part of the community, a place where residents feel welcomed, connected, and can enjoy our frozen yogurt in a space created just for them,” Bauman says in a release.
The shop will take a self-serve approach, with a variety of frozen yogurt flavors and swirl combinations, as well as more than 30 toppings. Flavors include vanilla, pineapple, chocolate, cheesecake, birthday cake, coconut, orange, and white chocolate strawberry. Toppings include nuts, fruit, cookies, and gummies. A regular cup with toppings is $9. They also sell cake by the slice,
In addition to frozen yogurt, Orange Leaf Aledo has a big selection of smoothies in flavors such as triple berry and orange & cream, plus shakes, and froyo cakes.
Orange Leaf is part of of BRIX Holdings, LLC, a Dallas-based company specializing in chains.
“David is a welcome addition to the Orange Leaf family. His commitment to service and passion for the community are qualities that will ensure the success of the new Aledo location for generations,” says Brix Holdings CEO Sherif Mityas.
The Orange Leaf grand opening event will include raffles and the chance to win free froyo for a year.
