Chicago's Rosebud Steakhouse is coming to Southlake for Texas debut
A renowned steakhouse from Chicago is set to sizzle in Southlake: Called Rosebud Steakhouse, it's from Chicago-based Creative Hospitality Concepts Restaurant Group and will open in Southlake's District 114 at 2102 SH-114 in January 2025.
District 114 is a mixed-use building adjacent to SH-114 from Medici Development Partners, LLC, described in a release as the only upscale mixed-use destination in Southlake, with office, restaurant, and retail space, anchoring the expansive Kimball Park development.
Creative Hospitality Concepts is from partners Angelo Eliades and Steve Coppolillo, who opened the first Rosebud in Chicago in 2000. They now have three brands, including Rosebud Steakhouse, their Italian steakhouse Coppolillo’s Italiano, and Windy City Social Burger Club — with six locations all in the midwest, as well as a partnership with a purveyor of Angus beef called Meats By Linz.
Steak offerings include a 22-ounce bone-in ribeye, and two types of 40-day dry-aged steaks: a 16-ounce Kansas City strip and a 20-ounce cowboy cut bone-in ribeye. There are a few basic seafood options as well as Italian dishes such as rigatoni vodka and chicken parmesan. Starters and salads include oysters, crabcakes, lamb lollipops, wedge, and Caesar.
"Bringing the Rosebud Steakhouse brand and our Meats by Linz quality to District 114 is a testament to our commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences," says Creative Hospitality Concepts Restaurant Group CEO Angelo Eliades in a statement. "We are thrilled to be working with Medici Development Partners to introduce this iconic restaurant to the vibrant Southlake community."
Medici Development Partners, known for its focus on identifying real estate assets, aims to create a destination with District 114 that draws residents and visitors alike.
"We're thrilled to welcome Rosebud Steakhouse to District 114 at Kimball Park! As they continue to expand beyond the Greater Chicago area, we are honored that Angelo, Steve, and the entire Rosebud team have chosen our community as their newest home," says Medici Development Partners managing partner Jeff Medici. "We look forward to the continued collaboration with them as we come together to bring the local community an unforgettable dining experience."
