Buzzy ramen restaurant Wabi House to open in charming Old Town Keller

Wabi House will open in Keller in the fall.
An acclaimed ramen restaurant is headed for Keller: Wabi House, the chef-led Asian restaurant, is opening in charming Old Town Keller, in a cute building at 111 W. Vine St. that used to be home to Station Patio Ice House, where it's slated to open in the fall.
Wabi House is the popular Asian concept from chefs Dien Nguyen and Kenzo Tran, who worked together on other concepts such as Piranha Killer Sushi and Piranha Killer Ramen; Tran also owns Pho District in Fort Worth.
The restaurant has earned nods for its Japanese izakaya style fare such as noodles and small plates, including CultureMap Tastemaker Awards nominations for Neighborhood Restaurant and Best Restaurant.
In a statement, City of Keller Assistant Economic Director Ana Erwin applauded Wabi House for bringing "a fresh, vibrant energy to our dining scene, offering a space that's perfect for both family outings and date nights."
“Their family-friendly patio will be a standout feature, creating an inviting environment for residents and visitors alike," Erwin said. "This is exactly the kind of experience we want to see flourish in Old Town — something unique, welcoming, and community-oriented.”
Chef Nguyen opened the first Wabi House at Greenville Avenue in 2015; then a second location in Fort Worth in 2018, and a third in Frisco in 2024.
They have six ramen bowl options including the popular tonkotsu with pork belly, a veggie broth, and tsukemen, a pork-centric ramen featuring chashu and bacon.
Ramen is $13-$14, but they have a $9 ramen lunch special on weekdays. In addition to ramen, there are small plates such as edamame, gyoza, and yakitori, which is meat on skewers grilled at the table.
According to Wabi House Chief Operating Officer Amanda Kovatch, this location will feature some specially-crafted items still to be determined. “The menu will include Wabi favorites, but there will also be exclusive items for Keller," she says.
The Keller location also comes with an incredible patio space, where they'll serve cocktails and a wall of TVs.
