Katrina is a Houston-based writer and former professional pastry chef. After graduating from the University of North Texas, she moved to New York City for culinary school and began an internship at Saveur Magazine, her first step toward a copywriting career. Katrina eventually moved back to Texas and began writing promoted content for book publishers, local and national magazines, and digital media. She joined CultureMap in 2016 and serves as Director of Content Marketing. Katrina is an animal lover, wine enthusiast, and proud (boy and dog) mom.
