These are the 9 best things to do in Fort Worth this weekend
While most big events in and around Fort Worth have either been postponed or canceled during the coronavirus pandemic, there are a few that have popped up to offer the masses some entertainment while still adhering to the necessary social distancing measures.
Below are the best ways to spend your free time this weekend. While they're not all outside of the house, they all promise to provide a nice distraction from the everyday life.

Physical Distancing Fall 2020 Season, Theatre Wesleyan will present At A Distance, which uses inspiration from the most prolific authors, poets, philosophers and playwrights to tell the story of two strangers who discover a shared appreciation for solitude and a love of classical literature. The outdoor theatrical production will take place at Kay Granger Mall at Texas Wesleyan University nightly through Sunday.
Haunted attractions
Now that the calendar has turned over to October, it's time to enjoy the variety of haunted attractions the area has to offer, albeit with changes due to COVID-19. All three of the big area haunted houses — Cutting Edge Haunted Houseand Hangman's House of Horrors in Fort Worth, and Moxley Manor Haunted House in Bedford — will have extra precautions in place, such as timed ticketing, reduced capacity, a face mask requirement, and more. Each will be open on various dates through October 31, with Cutting Edge continuing on both November 1 and 13.
Copper Chief in concert

National Theatre Live: Fleabag
Fleabag is the hilarious, award-winning, one-woman show that inspired the hit TV series of the same name. Written and performed by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, this 67-minute play is a rip-roaring look at some sort of woman living her sort of life. Fleabag may seem oversexed, emotionally unfiltered, and self-obsessed, but that's just the tip of the iceberg. This screening of a previously-recorded performance will be at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth.
Aaron Watson in concert
Country singer Aaron Watson is 42 years old and has been recording music for 20 years, but it wasn't until 2012 that he hit it big with his 11th album, appropriately titled The Underdog, which went to No. 1 on the country charts. He's been near the top of the charts ever since, including with his 2019 album, Red Bandana. He'll play at Billy Bob's Texas.
