Fort Worth Opera presents Elixir Melodies
Fort Worth Opera and The Mexico Institute will present Elixir Melodies, a concert of opera arias, zarzuelas, tangos, boleros, and Broadway songs. The event, taking place for one night only at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, will feature tenor Angelo Ferrari, tenor Javier Aguilar, and Fort Worth Opera's mezzo-soprano Bridget Cappel.
Stage West Theatre presents A Doll's House, Part 2
In 1879, Nora Helmer walked out the door, leaving her husband and children and societal constraints behind her, instantly propelling world drama into the modern age. Now, 15 years later, there is a knock at that same door, as the squirrel returns to her cage with an incredibly awkward favor to ask. In this bitingly funny and fascinating sequel to Ibsen’s revolutionary masterpiece, sparks fly and the past and present collide in a taut theatrical showdown. The play, making its regional premiere at Stage West Theatre, will run through November 25.
Casa Mañana presents An Evening With Liza And Judy
Liza and Judy are together again in this memorable evening of song and comedy. The outrageously funny BJ Cleveland stars as the powerful Liza Minnelli with multi-talented Janelle Lutz as the iconic Judy Garland. Audiences will hear favorite tunes made famous by these divas, such as “Arthur in the Afternoon” and “The Man that Got Away.” There will be three performances through Sunday at Casa Mañana Theatre.
The Cliburn presents Aaron Diehl Trio
Pianist Aaron Diehl is one of the most sought-after jazz virtuosos. Diehl’s meticulously thought-out performances, collaborations, and compositions are a leading force in today’s generation of jazz contemporaries, spearheading a distinct union of traditional and fresh artistry. Diehl and his trio will give a special Cliburn Sessions performance at the Scat Jazz Lounge.

Globe Life Park presents Stadiumlinks
Globe Life Park will once again be transformed into Stadiumlinks, a one-of-a-kind, nine-hole golf experience. Tee times are offered across three event days, Friday through Sunday, including both early morning and evening sessions, ending with the ballpark lights illuminating the entire course under the night sky. A cash purse of $2,000 will go to players with top scores.
Fort Worth Zoo presents Boo at the Zoo
If it's close to Halloween, that means it's once again time for Boo at the Zoo at the Fort Worth Zoo. The event, taking place every day through Sunday, features treat stations, carnival games, animal shows, and more. This daytime event, free with zoo admission or membership, will include Halloween-themed activities and entertainment throughout the zoo.
Magnolia at the Modern: The Happy Prince
Rupert Everett makes his writing and directing debut with The Happy Prince. He also stars alongside Colin Firth and Emily Watson in the untold story of the last days of Oscar Wilde, a man who observed his own failure with ironic distance and regarded the difficulties that beset his life with detachment and humor. The film will screen seven times through Sunday at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth.
Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra presents Daphnis Et Chloé
Bask in the warmth of Brahms’ melodic genius when Alessio Bax returns to the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra to perform the majestic Piano Concerto No. 2. Selections will also include the sumptuous second suite from Ravel’s Daphnis et Chloé and the world premiere of a new work by Antonio Juan-Marcos. The concert, conducted by Miguel Harth-Bedoya, will have three performances through Sunday at Bass Performance Hall.

Ed Sheeran in concert with Snow Patrol
It hasn't exactly been a long time since Ed Sheeran came to town, as he played at American Airlines Center just last year. But this concert at AT&T Stadium is representative of his rise in the music industry since the last time he played the venue, as the opening act for Taylor Swift in 2013. When you can go from opener to headliner at a 100,000 seat stadium in just five years, you're definitely a superstar. He'll be joined by opening act Snow Patrol.
Eli Young Band in concert
Denton's Eli Young Band has experienced tons of success since their debut album in 2002. They moved to Nashville in 2011, and hit it big with their subsequent album, 2014's 10,000 Towns, which went to No. 1 on Billboard's Country Albums chart. They'll play a pre-Halloween show at Billy Bob's Texas in support of their latest album, 2017's Fingerprints.
Stadiumlinks, a unique nine-hole golf course, will be set up at Globe Life Park in Arlington October 26-28.
