Frame4Frame Festival
The inaugural Frame4Frame Festival features film, art, and music events at various locations around Arlington, including Studio Movie Grill and the Arlington Museum of Art. More than 20 feature and short films are being screened through Sunday, the majority of them from Dallas-Fort Worth area filmmakers. Twelve bands are on tap to perform, including Jeffrey Austin, a former contestant on NBC’s The Voice, and jazz vocalist Adonis Rose. The art show Ulterior Motifs rounds out the festival.

Magnolia at the Modern presents Miss Sharon Jones!
The latest in the Magnolia at the Modern series at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth is Miss Sharon Jones!, a movie in which veteran documentarian Barbara Kopple follows rhythm and blues singer Sharon Jones as she tries to hold her band together while battling pancreatic cancer. The film screens six times through Sunday.

Chamber Music Society of Fort Worth presents The Many Faces of Romanticism
The Chamber Music Society of Fort Worth kicks off its 2016-2017 season with The Many Faces of Romanticism, featuring selections from Bruch, Hindesmith, and Mozart. The featured performer at the concert, taking place at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, is clarinetist Franklin Cohen.
TRWD 2016 Fall Trash Bash and After Party
At the 25th Annual Fall TRWD Trash Bash, participants can pick a location to help clean up trash along the Trinity River. Following the event, everyone’s hard work is being celebrated with a '90s-themed after-party at Panther Island Pavilion, which includes food, prizes, activities, giveaways, '90s cover band Fun Time Chaos, and a fireworks show.
Amon Carter Museum of American Art presents Party on the Porch
The annual Party on the Porch at Amon Carter Museum of American Art features live music by hometown artists like Jake Paleschic, Thieving Birds, and Sarah Jaffe. The event also includes local food trucks, screen-printed T-shirts by Pan Ector, lawn games, and a special area reserved for Amon Carter members.
Fort Worth Opera presents 57th Annual Opera Ball
The 57th annual Fort Worth Opera Ball, titled Una Noche de Estrellas (Night Of Stars), kicks off the Fort Worth Opera’s newest initiative, Noches de Ópera, a four-year programmatic campaign with the goal of further strengthening Latino community ties. The evening, taking place at Ridglea Country Club, features live performances from mariachis and ballet folklórico dancers, along with a silent auction and Mexican-themed three-course dinner..
An Evening with Kevin Smith: The Art of Comics
Creator of AMC’s Comic Book Men, writer, comedian, podcaster, and film director Kevin Smith has written and directed numerous films, including Clerks, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back, Red State, and Tusk. Fans can get up close and personal with the comics enthusiast and man who brought the world these films at Murchison Performing Arts Center in Denton.
Canelo vs. Smith: WBO Junior Middleweight World Championship
