Yellowstone’s hottest cowboy to greet fans at Fort Worth Walmart
Yellowstone fans who book it to a northeast Fort Worth Walmart at the crack of dawn on Tuesday, September 17 will be rewarded with the chance to meet one of the show’s hottest stars.
Cole Hauser, aka cowboy Rip Wheeler, will appear at the Walmart Supercenter at 3851 Airport Frwy., Fort Worth, at sunrise to greet guests in line and sign bags of his Free Rein coffee for the first 50 people there. According to a release, he will arrive 7 am. However, the event begins when the store opens at 6 am.
Tickets are not required, and if the crowds are anything like Hauser's past meet-and-greets at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, devoted fans had better set their alarms extra early to get there on time. The place could be mobbed.

Until 12 noon Tuesday, Free Rein representatives will serve coffee to customers onsite (though there's no indication how long Hauser will stay). The event will kick off the brand’s Yellowstone RV Tour, which will take coffee samples to Walmart stores from Texas to Montana.
Free Rein Coffee Company is a partnership among Hauser and three friends, and is made in Texas.
In 2022, Hauser and his friends Karl Pfluger, Aron Marquez, and Paul Anderson purchased a small-batch roasting facility in San Angelo to craft their coffee. They launched with six different blends, all with cowboy-themed names inspired by Hauser's character on the hit Paramount show.
Free Rein also sells a line of drinkware and apparel including hats, shirts, and more. A portion of sales go to the nonprofit Special Operations Warrior Foundation, which empowers families of fallen and severely wounded Special Operations warriors. Hauser is a longtime patron and board member.
"With Free Rein, we're not only crafting a premium coffee experience, but also paying a heartfelt homage to the American Dream," Hauser said when it launched. "As a nation built on dreams and aspirations, we want to inspire the go-getters, the dreamers, and the believers to fuel their pursuits.
Free Rein coffee is served at HTeaO shops and is the official coffee of Billy Bob’s Texas.

Hauser also has a bourbon called Lazy K Bar Whiskey, which started selling in retailers around Texas in July.
Hauser has portrayed heartthrob Rip Wheeler (aka Beth Dutton's hubby) on Yellowstone since 2018.
No stranger to Fort Worth, Hauser’s son attends TCU. Ahead of his Walmart appearance, he was spotted eating at Joe T. Garcia’s over the weekend.
Yellowstonereturns for the final episodes of the series finale at 8 pm Sunday, November 10. Paramount Network's hit Western drama, co-created by Fort Worth's Taylor Sheridan, has been on hiatus since January 2023.
