1. Celeb-owned eatery Johnny's Chicken & Waffles makes Fort Worth debut. A restaurant dedicated to chicken & waffles with celebrity ties is coming to Fort Worth. Johnny's Chicken & Waffles' official opening is July 22, but the restaurant made its soft debut on July 11.
2. Famed Fort Worth BBQ team to debut a pizza tavern in Hot Box space. A high-profile address in Fort Worth's South Main Village has landed an exciting new restaurant. Called One Trick Pony Pizza Tavern, it's a casual pizza-and-martinis concept opening at 313 S. Main St., in the former space occupied by Hot Box Biscuit Club, which closed in 2024.
3. New shop Branded Bagels in Northlake does it New York style. A bagel shop serving New York-style bagels has opened in Northlake. Called Branded Bagels, it’s an indie shop in a new-ish shopping center in Northlake Commons, where it opened softly in May, with an official opening on July 10.

4. Fiore Cafe in southwest Fort Worth debuts new in-house wine bar. A darling cafe that's beloved in its southwest Fort Worth neighborhood is expanding. Fiore Cafe, known for its panini and house-made gelato, has expanded its profile to also become a wine bar — a first for the area.
