H&M sets opening date for massive store at Fort Worth’s Sundance Square
UPDATE: Since this was published, H&M moved up the opening date a week, to April 7. The story has been updated to reflect that.

World fast-fashion favorite H&M has set an opening date for its Sundance Square store: April 7. Doors open at noon, to be precise.H&M is the biggest retailer at the Fort Worth hot spot. It occupies four levels and 30,000 square feet, at the corner of Commerce and Third streets, between the AMC Palace Theater and Cheesecake Factory.
When the Sundance Square location was first announced, H&M called Fort Worth “a fast growing market” for the brand. Must be true: The retailer will enter Hulen Mall in fall 2016.
H&M offers collections for men and women; separate store-within-a-store sections for maternity, sports apparel (Caitlyn Jenner is the new face of H&M Sport), and a plus-size line; and a children’s line for newborn to 8 years. H&M also is famous for its designer collaborations, with big names such as Alexander Wang.
Lest you think H&M is only for everyday wear, consider that celebrities like Jessica Chastain have been known to wear the brand at fancy VIP parties.
Sustainability is an integral part of H&M, according to a release. In 2013, H&M launched Garment Collecting, an in-store clothing recycling project. In 2015, the brand received the U.S. EPA Green Power Leadership Award.
