Sweet Austin spa pampers Shops at Clearfork with first Dallas-Fort Worth location
UPDATE: Milk + Honey will open its doors at The Shops at Clearfork on March 30, the spa says.

A favorite Austin-based spa has chosen The Shops at Clearfork for its first North Texas location. "Clean beauty" day spa Milk + Honey will debut this winter at 5188 Monahans Ave., in Fort Worth's burgeoning upscale shopping development.
According to a release, the 7,800-square-foot Fort Worth location will feature 14 treatment rooms, eight salon chairs, and four manicure and pedicure stations. It will offer "the brand’s full range of signature spa treatments and salon services in a comfortable yet luxurious environment," the company says.
In time to melt away holiday shopping stress, the spa will offer indulgent treatments like Swedish, deep tissue, pre-natal, and sports massage (beginning at $110 for 60 minutes); a high-tech Lux Facial ($155 for 75 minutes); and a signature body treatment called Spa Partisan that involves body brushing, skin polishing, a full steam, and massage ($195 for 100 minutes). There are also nail and hair services, men's treatments, and basic services for teens and children as young as age 5.
What sets Milk + Honey apart, though, are its products. The spa uses organic, non-toxic ingredients whenever possible and sells its own line of hyperclean bath, body, and skincare products — from deodorant to home fragrance to "lip butter." Fort Worth clients will be able to purchase them in a designated retail space.
Clearfork spa-goers can expect a space with a modern aesthetic, calming color palette, and designs inspired by nature, the company says.
Milk + Honey has five locations throughout Austin and Houston. The Fort Worth spa marks its first in the DFW area, and the company says it has plans for further expansion in coming months.
“Our mission is to guide, educate, and assist our clients in creating a healthy and happy life, and we are thrilled to expand this experience to Fort Worth,” Alissa Bayer, Milk + Honey founder, says in a release. “We’ve been lucky enough to have thousands of Dallas-Fort Worth customers join us in Austin and Houston, so when the opportunity to expand into The Shops at Clearfork became a reality, we knew it would be the perfect fit.”
Bayer founded Milk + Honey in 2006 in Austin’s 2nd Street District. Since then, both the day spas and the products have been recognized by Elle Magazine, Allure, and Les Nouvelles Esthétiques, and have won numerous awards.
