Just Keep It Simple
Mexican street food concept brings the heat to Fort Worth's new food hall
Nothing will stop you from getting your elotes fix — at least if chef Justin Box has anything to do with it.
The former sous chef at Cafe Momentum has opened EB2, a Mexican street food concept that's bringing the heat to the Food Hall at Crockett Row.
Not only will diners find tacos and tamales, they can also chow down on an elotes bar that's stocked with inventive toppings, including tajin and chili powder blends made in-house.
Those spicy sprinkles also come in handy for the rotating menu of fruita con chile, fresh berries and other fruit topped with tajin Pop Rocks and a squeeze of lime.
A walk-up counter is open for those looking for a quick bite on the go.
Watch Box discuss how this chef-driven restaurant will use authentic ingredients sourced from Mexico, and why Fort Worth was craving a simple Mexican snack.
