Acclaimed Fort Worth seafood restaurant Pacific Table launches spinoff
The Gables Water Street mixed-use project in Las Colinas has snared an exciting new restaurant from an acclaimed chef: Pacific Table, the casual fine-dining restaurant from chef Felipe Armenta, has opened a location at 5238 N. O'Connor Blvd., #136, next door to Olivella's Pizza and across the street from Williams Square.
This is the second location of Pacific Table. Armenta opened the first location in Fort Worth's University Park Village in 2013.
In a statement, Gables Residential VP Darin Botelho says that they're honored Armenta chose Water Street Irving for his second location.
"Pacific Table is the perfect complement to our established high-end restaurants," Botelho says. "We know the community is going to love their food and atmosphere as much as we do."
Pacific Table joins an acclaimed roster of restaurants that includes Hugo's Invitados, Cork & Pig Tavern, The Ginger Man, Creamistry, Go Fish Poke, Pax & Beneficia Coffee, El Famoso, and Olivella's.
Pacific Table's cuisine is inspired by the Pacific Northwest, specializing in salmon, sushi, and oysters, and enhanced by craft cocktails and an extensive wine list.
It offers a comfortable upscale atmosphere, with a semi-open kitchen, horseshoe-shaped bar, wine room, and open windows overlooking Lake Carolyn, as well as a patio featuring a fire pit.
Daily features and menu favorites include:
- miso-glazed or cedar plank salmon
- East coast and West coast oysters flown in daily and shucked to order
- sushi rolls including the classic California roll or the Pacific Style roll
Pacific Table executive administrator Leah Thomas notes that, while the menu spotlights seafood and entrees such as slow-braised short rib, they have something for those who don't eat meat.
"We even have a veggie burger for our vegetarian guests," Thomas says. "We make everything in-house, including our desserts.'
Pacific Table is open for lunch and dinner, plus weekend brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 am-3 pm.
Happy hour is available Monday-Friday, 4-6 pm, and includes reduced prices on select sushi, oysters, appetizers and drinks. Reservations are recommended and may be made directly on the website.
Water Street Irving is a pedestrian-friendly project with 60,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, 316 apartment homes, green space, and lake views, walking distance of the DART Rail System, Toyota Music Factory, and the landmark Mustangs at Las Colinas.
