UPDATE 6-8-2022: According to a representative from Hillwood, the news about H-E-B was "inadvertently included" in a release, adding that "H-E-B has not announced a store at this site nor a timeline for construction."

It looks like Fort Worth is going to get an H-E-B grocery store, and it's in North Fort Worth: specifically, Parkside at Alliance Town Center.

The dining and entertainment destination at AllianceTexas also has three new restaurants in the works that will bring tacos, salads, and coffee.

According to a release from Hillwood, the developer, the center is getting an H-E-B grocery store, plus the following newcomers:

  • Torchy’s Tacos, Austin-based taco chain known with more than a dozen street taco combinations, from its fan-favorite “Trailer Park” taco made with fried chicken to its “Baja Shrimp” and breakfast taco options, plus its signature green chile queso.
  • Cava, flavorful, healthy, fast-casual Mediterranean experience with customizable salads, grain bowls, pitas, and juices.
  • Black Rifle Coffee Company, a veteran-founded coffee company that imports coffee beans from around the world and offers a range of subscription options.

Parkside at Alliance Town Center will also be home to Dash Nail Spa, with luxury manicure and pedicure services.

The news about the H-E-B store is not yet being confirmed by H-E-B.

An H-E-B spokesperson confirmed that the company owns land there but has no immediate plans to build a store, stating, "no store news until we announce." The supermarket industry is always so veiled, and none are more veiled than H-E-B.

These additions will be located north of Heritage Trace, on the east side of Hillwood Parkway, adjacent to Bluestem Park in the heart of Alliance Town Center.

With the launch of Parkside in late 2017, Phase l on the west side of Hillwood Parkway features a variety of dining options with expansive patios overlooking Bluestem Park, including Grub Burger Bar, Shell Shack, First Watch and Mod Pizza.
