Best Fort Worth restaurants for Thanksgiving 2021 dining-in or to-go
Restaurants are ready to serve families again for Thanksgiving, and the options for dining in or taking meals to-go are plentiful in the Fort Worth area.
On November 25, some Fort Worth restaurants are hosting feasts in their dining rooms, some are offering takeaway, and some are doing both.
Here's our list of restaurants doing Thanksgiving spreads. This list will grow as Turkey Day approaches, but reservations may go fast as many are ready for someone else to do the cooking.
97 West Kitchen & Bar
The Hotel Drover restaurant will offer a Texas-themed Thanksgiving dinner of four courses ($79 per person, $35 for children 6-12) including chicken fried quail, squash bisque, sous vide turkey breast, cornbread stuffing, and cinnamon pumpkin pie. Seating times are 11 am-8 pm. 682-255-6497.
B&B Butchers & Restaurant
The Shops at Clearfork steakhouse’s three-course dinner ($85 per person, $35 for children 11 and under) includes choice of butternut squash soup or salad, prime rib or turkey, and all the sides including Brussels sprouts, cranberry sauce, sweet yams with marshmallows, and corn souffle. Bacchus Kitchen + Bar
The restaurant located inside Grapevine's Hotel Vin will feature a four-course feast ($80 per person) with a harvest salad, butternut bisque, roasted turkey, truffle gravy, roulade with sausage stuffing, green bean casserole, and sweet potatoes with coconut streusel. Blue Mesa Grill
Reserve your spot for the restaurant’s Thanksgiving Day “Mega Buffet” ($28 per person, $7 for children 6-11) featuring Southwestern and Mexican dishes, roasted turkey, southwest stuffing, sweet potatoes, a variety of pies, and regular items like street tacos, an omelet station, waffles, brisket, red chile salmon, and mimosas. Seating times are from 10 am-3 pm. Or order a Thanksgiving family pack to-go ($135, serves six), which comes with boneless turkey breast, southwest stuffing and pan gravy, cranberry-jalapeño relish, cheese enchiladas, and sides like sweet corn cakes and cinnamon-roasted butternut squash. Bonnell’s Fine Texas Cuisine (To-go only)
Jon Bonnell has customers covered with lots of takeaway options. Order a la carte turkeys, from Creole smoked to deep-fried, whole beef tenderloin, grilled quail and more, or go with a family package. The Turkey Deal ($275) include choice of turkey, two sides, a dozen dinner rolls, gravy, and a dessert. The Leftover Deal ($375) doubles the sides, rolls and gravy to ensure there’s plenty for the next day. Order by November 17 for pick-up November 24.
Buca di Beppo (To-go only)
The Southlake Italian spot is doing a family-style feast ($79-$148) of turkey, garlic mashed potatoes, spicy Italian sausage stuffing, green beans, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie. Select Italian classics are also available. Order by 7 am November 23 for pick-up November 24-25. 817-749-6262.
Central Market (To-go only)
New this year, the Holiday Feast packs two different proteins and all the sides. Selections include all-natural oven-roasted turkey; hickory-smoked, spiral-sliced bone-in ham with apricot ginger glaze; mixed greens salad with apricots, cranberries, walnuts and goat cheese; macaroni and cheese; holiday whipped sweet potatoes; holiday whipped Russet potatoes; green beans with toasted almonds; oven-roasted vegetables; savory cornbread dressing; turkey gravy; cranberry sauce; Brioche rolls; French baguette and spinach dip, $349.99, serves 12 to 16 people. There are also smaller-size meals and myriad a la carte items. Choose from the extensive menu here. Orders must be received at least 48 hours before pick-up, November 22-25. Note that all Central Market stores close to shoppers at 2 pm Thanksgiving Day.
Chef Point(To-go only)
Both Watauga and Colleyville locations are offering a la carte Thanksgiving menu items for pick-up, including Cajun turkey, baked ham, traditional sides, and even lobster mac and cheese and bread pudding by the pan. Note that there are no pick-ups on Thanksgiving Day.
Copeland's Southlake
The hotel restaurant inside the Hilton Southlake will offer a Cajun twist on Thanksgiving with its “Pilgrim Platter” ($20 per person, $10 children 12 and under). The meal comes with Cajun fried turkey and gravy, sweet potatoes with amretto cream sauce, butter creamed potatoes, Cajun corn maque choux, cornbread dressing, ham and bacon green beans, cranberry compote and a hot buttered biscuit. Dickey's Barbecue Pit (To-go only)
Two holiday packages include The Complete Feast (starts at $115, serves 10-12) or Dinner Feast (starts at $92, serves 8-10) for heat and eat. Comes with choice of meat, plus sides, gravy, rolls, and dessert.
Dickies Arena (To-go only)
The Fort Worth arena's catering operation is offering traditional side dishes that serve six guests: stuffing, green bean casserole, whipped potatoes with homemade gravy, cranberry relish, and pumpkin or apple pie ($15-$40). Eddie V's
Steakhouse is serving a special dinner with sliced turkey, French green beans with sun-dried tomatoes, brioche sage stuffing, butternut squash, pan gravy, cranberry chutney, mashed potatoes, and breadbasket. $43 or $15 for 12 and under. 4-10 pm. Reserve online or call 817-336-8000.
From Across the Pond (To-go only)
Colleyville British pub recently featured on Food Network's Restaurant Impossible is doing takeout meals that include turkey, stuffing balls, pigs in blankets (bacon wrapped sausages), mashed potatoes, balsamic roasted Brussels sprouts, honey roasted carrots, homemade red wine brown gravy, and cranberry sauce — all gluten-free, $20 per person. Gluten-free pies are available, too. Order, send a private message on Facebook and include what time you plan to pick up on Wednesday, November 24 as the restaurant is closed on Thanksgiving.
Golden Corral (To-go only)
The family-friendly buffet destination is offering a Thanksgiving feast to-go ($79.99, feeds, six to eight) including choice of carved turkey or glazed ham along with cornbread stuffing, cranberry sauce, rolls, and choice of side. Also choose pumpkin or pecan pie for dessert. Order by November 21 to pick-up on Thanksgiving Day.
Healthy Hippie Cafe (To-go only)
The Keller-based healthy eatery is offering 100 percent organic, soy free, five-course take-home meals. They include roasted Kabocha squash, ginger, and carrot soup; mixed greens salad with pumpkin seed hummus; green lentil sage loaf with exotic mushroom gravy; choice of several vegetable sides; and pecan pie puff pastry or eggnog parfait. Heim BBQ (To-go only)
The barbecue mecca will focus on Thanksgiving favorites with a package that features traditional Turkey Day offerings ($300, serves 10-12). Choose from turkey or spiral-sliced ham. Sides includes gravy, mashed potatoes, cornbread dressing, green beans, sweet potato casserole, and pecan or pumpkin pie. A la carte options are also available, as is a sides package ($200). Pick up November 23-24 at Heim’s corporate location at 8620 Clifford St., not the restaurants.
Hot Box Biscuit Club(To-go only)
The South Main Street chicken biscuit haven is ready to help with Thanksgiving sides ($125, serves four). The package includes biscuit dressing with sage, celery and brown butter, green chile bacon mac and cheese, sour cream mashed potatoes, honey and thyme roasted carrots, green bean casserole, take-and-bake buttermilk biscuits, cranberry sauce with orange zest, and herb-roasted turkey gravy. Il Modo
The upscale Italian restaurant located on the ground level of downtown’s Kimpton Harper Hotel will serve a three-course Thanksgiving special ($45 per person) in addition to its regular menu. Start with choice of antipasto salad or butternut squash soup followed by turkey with tomato basil gravy, guanciale Brussels sprouts with caramelized onions, Parmesan and balsamic glaze, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, Italian sausage stuffing, cranberry jam, and traditional spaghetti Pomodoro. Jellico’s
The brand new Westin Southlake Hotel opens this month and its restaurant Jellico's is led by former Fort Worth chef Jenna Kinard. Visit on Thanksgiving Day for a five-course seated dinner served family-style ($55 for adults, $24 for children 5-12). Menu highlights include apple-brined turkey with wild mushroom gravy and bourbon-glazed ham with candied pineapple. Seating times will run from 5-7 pm. Customers can also order pies to-go, including s’mores, caramel apple, or bourbon pecan ($45) for pick-up November 22-24. 817-873-1900.
La Madeleine French Café (To-go only)
The French café chain is offering a holiday feast of roasted turkey breast, creamy wild mushroom sauce, red-skinned mashed potatoes, green beans almondine, cranberry apple chutney stuffing and sea salt baguettes. Order the meal hot and ready ($120, serves 8-10, $240 serves 18-20) or ready-to-reheat ($60, serves four to six, $120, serves 8-10). Order in as little as 12 hours before pick-up.
Local Foods Kitchen (To-go only)
The café and grab-and-go eatery is offering a smorgasbord of Thanksgiving options, from multiple a la carte dishes to the whole feast ($200, serves 8-10) with turkey, mashed chive potatoes, green beans, turkey gravy, sage dressing, cranberry-orange sauce, rolls and pumpkin pie. Order by November 19 for pick-up November 24. Prefer your own dishes? Bring those in advance for select items to be baked.
Logan’s Roadhouse (To-go only)
The steakhouse chain is offering a four-pound prime rib or turkey breast meal ($99.99, serves six to eight) from now all the way through January 2. The meal comes with a family-sized salad, choice of two sides, a dozen rolls and the restaurant’s Mississippi brownie for dessert. Pick-up on Thanksgiving Day from 11 am-4 pm.
Lucille's
The westside bistro is open for in-house dining on Thanksgiving, 11 am-4 pm. Menu includes lobster bisque or salad, and entree choice of roasted turkey, salmon, prime rib, or live Maine lobster, with pumpkin pie for dessert ($29.95-$41.95 per person, with a kids' menu available for $11.95). In addition, they're offering a Family Pack that feeds 4, with roasted turkey with apple sausage dressing and homemade giblet gravy; mashed potatoes, green beans, candied yams, cranberry sauce, and four large slices of pumpkin pie ($200). Magdalena’s (To-go only)
The upscale Mexican caterer and supper club spot is offering a Thanksgiving dinner package ($160, serves four) with a Latin twist. Menu highlights include poblano soup, turkey enchiladas, stuffed roasted quail, tamales, sweet potatoes with house-made mushrooms, and two quarts of sangria. Nature's Plate (To-go only)
Plant-based meal preparation kitchen service has a Thanksgiving roast, stuffed with vegetables and served with cheesy broccoli rice, cornbread dressing, mashed potatoes, and mushroom gravy (4 servings, $75). There's also a plant-based meatloaf gluten-free option. $75, serves 4. Additional items a la carte include green bean casserole, baked sweet potatoes with apples, cranberry rhubarb sauce, rosemary biscuits, chocolate cheesecake, lemon raspberry cheesecake, pumpkin pie, cookies, and brownies. Panther City BBQ (To-go only)
Fresh off being named to Texas Monthly's list of best barbecue joints in the state, Panther City is offering a few a la carte items for Thanksgiving: turkey breast ($50), ham ($65), rack of ribs ($40), or whole brisket ($150), or a half pan of brisket elotes ($35). All orders should be placed online and pickups will be November 24 from 2-4 pm. (Regular menu items will be available when they are open that day for lunch, 11-2 pm, first come, first serve.) They'll be closed Thanksgiving Day and the day after.
Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille
The Grapevine steakhouse’s Thanksgiving menu ($45 per person) includes choice of butternut squash soup or apple salad, smoked turkey breast with gravy, mashed potatoes, green bean almondine, sausage and sage dressing, cranberry relish, and house-made bread. Dine in from 11 am-5 pm. Or pre-order the meal to-go ($139, feeds four) starting November 18. There’s an option to add on a three-pound encrusted prime rib for $129 and pumpkin cheesecake for $20. The Capital Grille
The downtown steakhouse will serve a traditional Thanksgiving dinner ($43 per person, $15 for children) featuring roasted turkey with brioche stuffing, green beans with marcona almonds, cranberry-pear chutney, and mashed potatoes.
