Get your Thanksgiving meal to go at these Fort Worth restaurants
Thanksgiving comes early this year, and we've only got a couple days to go. If cooking a holiday dinner seems like more than you can handle, there's help out there from Fort Worth restaurants and purveyors who will do the cooking for you. All you need to do is place the order and pick it up.
But the clock is ticking. At some of these places, you'll need to order in the next two days.
Here are some Fort Worth eateries are offering Thanksgiving to go:
B&B Butchers & Restaurant
Shops at Clearfork restaurant has a to-go menu with ready-to-cook brined turkey at $6 per pound; prime rib with potatoes and Yorkshire pudding, $300 for 5-7 or $550 for 10-12. Sides include whipped potatoes, creamed spinach, cornbread-sausage stuffing, corn souffle, candied yams, Brussels sprouts, cranberry sauce, and giblet gravy, in quantities for 4, 6, and 8 people, $60-$110. Buca di Beppo
Southlake location of this Italian chain is open on Thanksgiving Day for dining-in but also has a to-go package that includes sliced turkey, gravy, garlic mashed potatoes, Italian sausage stuffing, green beans, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie. Small (serves 3) $69, large (serves 5) $135. Available November 21-22 only. Order online.
Copeland's
Southlake restaurant has a to-go menu with Cajun-fried turkey for $65, glazed ham for $79, or turkey breast for $85. Sides come in 1-quart containers serving up to 8, and include mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, corn macque, green bean casserole, mushroom dressing, oyster dressing, cornbread dressing, biscuits, cranberry compote, and gravy, $12-$16. Eatzi's Market & Bakery
European market has ham, turkey breast, and turkey leg, $26-$29. Sides are $16-$22 and serve up to 6, including mashed sweet potato, Brussels sprouts, broccoli rice casserole, green beans, macaroni and cheese, Gruyere spinach gratin, sausage stuffing, cornbread stuffing, and more. Desserts include pumpkin swirl cheesecake and pies including sweet potato chocolate chess, pecan, apple, and pumpkin, serves 6-10, $17-38. Order by November 20, pick up November 21.
Luby's
Four meals options include prime rib, whole turkey, turkey breast, or turkey and ham. Served with dressing, gravy, rolls, and pumpkin pie. Requires 2-1/2 hours heating time. Order online at least 48 hours in advance by November 20, pick up by November 21. $70-$160. 877-465-8297.
Mimi's Cafe
Traditional holiday meal serves 8-10 with turkey, cornbread stuffing, candied-pecan mashed sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, apple cranberry orange relish, gravy, two carrot nut loaves, a whole pumpkin pie, and a whole pecan pie. $105. Just the sides include everything but the turkey and dessert. $50. A brunch menu features croissants or muffins, mixed fruit, and single-serving Lorraine or Florentine quiches. $42 for 7 or $84 for 12. Pumpkin and pecan pies are $17-$18. Razzoo's Cajun Cafe
Irving location of Cajun chain has a to-go meal with Cajun-fried turkey for $73 (feeds 10-12) and sides such as smoky red beans, dirty rice, mashed potatoes, green beans, and gravy. $6 for 2-3 people, $9 for 4-6 people. Soulman's Bar-B-Que
Family holiday meal includes smoked turkey, cornbread dressing, green beans, mashed potatoes, rolls, and cranberry sauce. Served 8-10 people, $100. Holiday catering menu includes smoked turkey, boneless smoked turkey, smoked ham, spiral sliced ham, brisket, and pulled pork. $13-$15 per person. Buttermilk or pecan pies are $15. Holiday pies in pumpkin, apple crumble, and pecan are available in 6- or 9-inch versions. Baked goods include pumpkin cupcakes with cream cheese frosting; cranberry orange cake three-layer cake; and frosted sugar cookies in a turkey or pumpkin pie slice shape. Must order by November 18. Pick up on November 21.
Woodshed Smokehouse
Tim Love restaurant is doing a turkey dinner that feeds 6 with smoked turkey, mashed potatoes, grilled green beans, kale salad, pumpkin pie, and smoked chocolate pie.
