Thanksgiving at Taste Project
The nonprofit will officially open its pay-what-you-want Taste Community Restaurant on South Main Street in Fort Worth on December 5, but patrons can get a sneak peek on Thanksgiving Day, from 11 am-2 pm. Chef and founder Jeff Williams’ lunch menu will include turkey and traditional sides, along with pumpkin and pecan bars. To avoid food waste, reservations are recommended.

Black Friday Brunch at Chef Point Café
The gas station gourmet restaurant will fuel Black Friday shoppers with an extra day of brunch from 11 am-2 pm. Stick-to-your-ribs dishes include chicken and waffles, crab eggs Benedict, huevos rancheros, and steak and eggs. Patrons can sip on a bacon Bloody Mary or a $15 mimosa flight with bottle of champagne and four juices for pairing. Reservations are not required.

Miracle in Cowtown Pop-Up Bar at Proper
The West Magnolia Avenue craft cocktail lounge will host a Fort Worth version of the New York City-based traveling holiday bar, complete with Christmas-themed glassware and vintage Christmas décor. The roster of festive cocktails includes How the Gimlet Stole Christmas, made with gin, sage, pine, and caraway cordial, and the Run Run Rudolph, featuring tequila blanco, coffee liqueur, iced hot chocolate, and Mexican spices. To complete the spirited setting, Proper will deck the halls with lights, garlands, ribbons, and nostalgic decorations. The pop-up bar will run through January 1.
Brews & Lights Tour
Meet at Legal Draft Beer Company in Arlington for four pours and a souvenir pint glass. Then hop aboard the Brew Bird Bus for more brew and a chauffeured Christmas light tour of Prairie Lights drive-through park in Grand Prairie. Tickets are $50 and the fun starts at 5 pm. Choose from two dates — Saturday, November 25 and Sunday, November 26.

Funky Town Donuts is back at Legal Draft Beer Company for a gourmet doughnut pairing. The $15 ticket is good for a box of five mini doughnuts and five 5-ounce pours. Choose from two reservation times — 1 pm or 3 pm — and bring the kids for their own pairing of doughnuts and root beer for $10.
