December is here, and Christmas is on the way. If your plans include dining out, these restaurants are offering special meals for the holidays. Some take place on Christmas Day, some on Christmas Eve, and some on both days. Note: Some of these restaurants are already nearly fully booked.

Here's our list of restaurants serving festive Christmas holiday dining:

Bird Cafe
Downtown Fort Worth spot will be open for Christmas Eve brunch from 11 am-3 pm, and Christmas Eve dinner from 3-10 pm. Christmas Day hours are 5-10 pm. 817-332-2473.

Buca di Beppo
Southlake location of this Italian restaurant chain will do regular family-style menu from 11 am-10 pm. 817-749-6262.

Cast Iron at Omni Fort Worth
Downtown hotel has a special buffet menu from 11 am-3 pm with omelets, waffles, salads, and seafood including a hot shellfish boil. $42. 817-350-4106.

Copelands New Orleans
Southlake restaurant is doing a Christmas menu with fried turkey, mashed sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, corn maque choux, cranberry sauce, and a biscuit. 7 am-10 pm. $22, or $10 for 10 and under. 817-305-2199.

Dee Lincoln Prime
Frisco steakhouse is serving a three-course dinner on Christmas Eve with choices from Caesar salad, wedge, lobster bisque, 8-ounce filet with whipped potatoes, rib eye with Lyonnaise potatoes, salmon with Swiss chard, duck breast with dried cherries, cheesecake, carrot cake and chocolate ganache cake. 4- 9 pm. $60, or $18 for 12 and under. 214-387-3333.

Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House
Plano and Uptown Dallas locations of this steakhouse chain will be open with a special holiday menu featuring prime rib plus regular menu selections. 3-8 pm. 972-312-9115.

Del Frisco's Grille
Regular menu items such as cheesesteak eggrolls and prime steaks. 11 am-8 pm at location in Southlake. 817-410-3777.

Fogo de Chao
Holiday churrasco feast will be served Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Dinner price all day includes seasonal menu items, market table, and feijoada bar. Christmas Eve, 11 am-9:30 pm; Christmas Day, 11 am-9 pm. $65, or $32 for 12 and under. Uptown Dallas and North Dallas/Addison locations.

Furr's
Southwest Fort Worth location of cafeteria chain will serve special buffet with roast beef, ham, turkey, chicken pot pie, glazed meatloaf, butterfly shrimp, pork chops, candied sweet potatoes, broccoli and rice casserole, carrot casserole, cheesecake, red velvet cake, and pies. 11 am-6 pm. $13, or $6 for 12 and under. 3233 Alta Mere Dr. 214-732-0422.

Humperdinks Brewpub
Brewpub opens bright and early at 10 am with $15 brunch with omelets, chicken and waffles, steak and eggs, followed by family-style turkey dinner with mashed potatoes, stuffing, and choice pecan or pumpkin pie. $22, or $12 for 12 and under. 10 am-10:30 pm. 700 Six Flags Dr., Arlington. 817-640-8553.

LAW at Four Seasons
Brunch buffet at Las Colinas hotel featuring large selection of holiday favorites in addition to carving stations, action stations, and a dessert room. 10:30 am-7:30 pm. $95, or $45 for 12 and under. 972-717-2420.

Luby's

RA Sushi

Romano's Macaroni Grill
Three-course menu with surf & turf theme including grilled ribeye, shrimp scampi, roasted asparagus, and garlic mashed potatoes. $25. Regular menu of Italian fare also available. Christmas Eve 11 am-10 pm. Christmas Day 12-8 pm. All locations.

Cheers to the top Fort Worth restaurants for brunch on New Year's Day 2019

It’s a day for a fresh start, setting new goals, or just another reason to indulge with brunch. While New Year’s Day falls on a Tuesday, there’s no shortage of local restaurants offering their typical Sunday Funday brunch best. For those who’ll need a little luck this year, there will be plenty of black-eyed peas specials, too.

These restaurants are open on New Year's Day to help you celebrate the start of 2019:

B&B Butchers & Restaurant
The high-end steakhouse will offer a “Hangover Cure Brunch” from 11 am-3 pm, with oversized “manmosas” (or mimosas served in a pilsner glass) and black-eyed peas with greens. The regular Sunday brunch menu, which features Benedicts, stuffed French toast, pancakes and waffles, will also be available.

Bird Café
While the normal weekend brunch menu won’t be offered, the Sundance Square restaurant will offer a couple brunch specials for the day starting at 11 am.

Blue Mesa
Mimosas (or straight bubbly sans the OJ) are included in this $22-per person brunch buffet. Menu items range from huevos rancheros and omelets to blue corn cheese enchiladas and black bean adobe pie. Brunch will be served from 10 am-3 pm, and children age 6 to 11 are $7.

Chef Point
The Watauga gas station restaurant will serve its weekend brunch menu from 11 am-2 pm, along with black-eyed peas all day. French toast bread pudding, monte cristo sandwiches with strawberry jam, and Chef Point’s “better than sex” fried chicken and waffles are some of the menu highlights. Or go big with the towering “bloody best” bloody Mary — a double size cocktail that comes with skewers of fried chicken, a slider, waffle fries, grilled shrimp, and bacon.

Doc B's Restaurant & Bar
The no-fuss restaurant will be open all day for lunch and dinner, serving its famous candied bacon, The Angry Meatball, shredded Brussels sprouts salad, oven roasted chicken wings, and wedge burger.

Little Red Wasp
The downtown diner will serve brunch features from 11 am all the way until 4 pm, with stick-to-your-ribs dishes like short rib Benedict with poached eggs, chilaquiles, and a chicken biscuit smothered with black pepper gravy that’s big enough to share. Don’t miss the cinnamon and sugar-tossed doughnut holes.

Mash’d
Go for $2 mimosas (which come in peach, blood orange, and blackberry, too), and something called "Bloody Mary’s Hillbilly Cousin," which is made with moonshine and is only $5. Brunch dishes range from egg lasagna — baked with layers of cheddar, sausage, and tomatoes — and caramel moonshine French toast, to a pancake so big it’s called “manhole.” Check with the restaurant directly for an opening time by this weekend, which will either be 10 am or 11 am.

Razzoo’s Cajun Café
While the lively Louisiana eatery doesn’t officially serve brunch, there will be $5 Moonshine Marys and Hair of the Dog cocktails all day. Open at 11 am.

Righteous Foods
Chew a little more wisely at this west Fort Worth restaurant, where brunch items include healthier options like acai bowls, veggie burritos, coconut chia seed pudding, and zucchini and walnut muffins. Detox from New Year’s Eve shenanigans with cold-pressed juices and drinking vinegars, or retox responsibly with organic cocktails. Brunch will start early at 9 am and run until 2 pm.

Tricky Fish
The Gulf coast-inspired Cajun seafood eatery will offer its popular weekend brunch menu from 10 am-2 pm. Visit for praline pancakes, fried shrimp and oyster grits, bananas foster monkey bread, and fried green tomatoes topped with blackened shrimp. Wash it all down with micheladas, prosecco mimosas, or tequila and grapefruit juice palomas.
